"So what's up Haley?"

I was finally hanging out with Ashley alone, without Seamus or anyone. It was just me and her. She was busy working and Aleks kept giving me company, so we didn't have time to organize a hang out. Today, which was Wednesday, she was able to spend 3 hours with me before she heads on to work.

"Nothing much," i said, stirring my straw in my smoothie drink. "Other than Aleks killing Monti."

"What?" Ashley semi-yelled. "He killed your childhood bestfriend."

I nodded my head. Her jaw is still open.

"You know. The Monti murder thing is still going on around the news you know," Ashley told.

I sighed. I couldn't turn the tv on in my house. I couldn't bare seeing interviewers interview Monti's parents. I even begged Aleks to ask the person at the front desk to change the channel in the lobby of the gym.

Later in the day, Ashley dropped me off home after hours of shopping. I sat crossed- legged on my bed, reading through my receipts. I heard a knock on my door. I rolled over, so my back was facing the ceiling. I didn't respond to the door, so the person walked in on their own. I heard footsteps for a second but they stopped moments later. When i looked back, it was Aleks with wide eyes....on my butt. I totally forgot i was wearing yoga pants today.

"What do you want Aleks?" I asked.

"I...i just wanted to hang out. But with that piece of ass, i don't know what to do," Aleks said.

I rolled my eyes, getting up from my bed. I put my shopping bags in the closet and looked at the man. He gave me the cheekiest smile i ever seen.

"Wherever you want to take me, i suggest you go now before i change my mind," i told.

Aleks hissed a yes, pumping his arms in the process. I watched him scurry down the stairs with me behind him. We went in his car and drove to Aleks' destination. I'm trusting his mood, this place might be fun.

We reached to an ice cream palour, which was Aleks' favourite place to be when he felt like his childhood self. He felt bad that he murdered Monti, so he brought me to a happy place. Aleks also thought that he brought me to the gym way too many times to watch him, so he thought this will change things a bit.

I didn't mind cheerful Aleks. It was cute. Seeing him in smiles, wrinkles in the corner of his eyes when he grins, it was adorable. Mouth watering flavours of ice cream were in big tubs that can catch your eyes. I ended up getting vanilla chocolate chip and rainbow swirls and Aleks got double chocolate chip, mint coconut and strawberry sorbet.

We sat at a cute, round table and enjoyed our desserts. I brought the spoon to my mouth and moaned at the tast. Aleks smiles, taking a bit of his own.

"I didn't know this was your thing Aleks," i said, smirking at his little weakness.

"Well, it's best to change to good from bad," Aleks smiles.

I smiled back. It was adorable. Aleks slowly reached his hand to mine, interlocking fingers. I shyly blushed. Sweet Aleks is probably the best Aleks out there.

"You know... There's something i've been meaning to tell you. I have been possessive during the last few weeks we've met and my question is, would yo-"

A bell cut him off. Our attention diverted to the door. A glare from the sun casted on the tall man at the enterance. I tilted my head a bit, my questioning look soon turned into a smile.

"Brandon?"
