I woke to find myself still on the balcony, the morning sunlight heating my fur and sending a warn feeling through my tired body. I stretch out my legs and arch my back, trying to wake myself up enough to go downstairs and face the humans again after the conversation they had last night, which they still didn't know I overheard.

When my hair was brushed and I was dressed in new clothing, the same style as before, I walk out of my room and begin heading down the halls toward the living room. To lighten my mood, I begin to hum a song that the Werewolves sing during the Full Moon games, to cheer on your teams. It was a familiar feeling, reminding me of back home.

When I pad through the door, I seen the humans gathered around a table eating strange earth foods I had never seen before.

"Morning Averi." Robin says when he catches sight of me.

I tilt my head, confused. "What?" I had never heard someone greet me that way.

A chorus of laughter rises from the others at the table. "You say good morning to someone who just woke up." Robin explains. "It's something we do on earth."

I nod my head and just laugh. "Back home we just attack the one who's asleep and say 'wake up bitch, I'm hungry.'"

This was funny to them, but I don't think they got that I wasn't joking. I would normally be the first awake and just jump on the first person I see, and the pattern would continue until we were all yelling at each other and threading to murder somebody.

"You hungry?" Cyborg asked, gesturing to the table of food. "We've got scrambled eggs and bacon for everybody."

I walk over to them and take a seat behind the couch, looking over their shoulder. "I have no idea what either of those are."

He shows me some yellow bits on a plate and introduced those as the scrambled eggs, but I shove that aside instantly when he shows me the bacon. "That smells like it was created by the gods."

"Well it wasn't!" Beastboy says, and I notice that he was eating this white stuff that smelled terrible and even looked to horrid to eat.

"What is that?" I go behind him and study his plate, then just turn away gagging. "It smells like a carcass that was left in the sun for too long."

Cyborg just burst out laughing. "That's his tofu junk he eats, because he's a vegetarian!"

This was new to me, but it didn't sound like something I was going to like. "Vegetarian?" I ask. "Is that like someone who eats vegetables?"

"Close." Robin jokes. "It's someone who eats nothing that comes from animals. No meat, eggs, or anything dairy."

"What!" The fur on my back stands on edge. "How do you not eat meat? Explain this to me Goblin!"

"Hey you can't talk, I've been most of those animals that people butcher for other people to eat!" I had forgotten he was a shapeshifter. "You probably kill animals every day."

"I do." I flip my tail behind me. "I've only eaten a handful of plants in my entire life."

He seriously looked as if he was going to faint. "How can you do that."

I shrug. "Wolves gotta eat what a wolves gotta eat."

I chose not to eat anything of the Earthlings and just go hunting in the forest later, their foods just didn't seem to be filling to a Werewolf body. Honestly it all tasted terrible.

When the meal was done, everyone seemed to drift away like before to do their own thing. I walk over to the couch and was soon joined by Beastboy, who was also wondering how to spend his time.
