Elsa's POV
I brushed my hair from it's knots and curls into shape. Putting down my hairbrush, my eyes lifted upon the mirror before me.
I boredly took in my reflection. Pale skin. Faded pink lips that almost never bother to curve upwards. A classical girl with unnatural platinum blonde hair and blue eyes that casted an icily indifferent gaze.
Yup, that's me. A seventeen, silent and odd student of DisneyWorks High.
I pulled the sleeves of my white, black-lined sweater and slipped into my black skinny jeans. Twisting my hair to a common low ponytail, I was ready for school.
I took out a pair of socks from a cabinet and reached for my white adidas under my bed. I slung a faded blue backpack over my shoulder and headed downstairs
I was met with the sight of my aunt and two of my cousins. We didn't have any other adult to live with so she took us in. My parents and my cousins' parents had planned a trip and had just been on the plane, when the clouds suddenly thickened and flashed. The aircraft was struck from lightning and dove into the ocean, taking our parents with it.
I smelt the air of breakfast. It smelled warm and buttery, and I knew that my aunt was preparing oatmeal. There were already a plate of toasts and glasses of milk laid out, along with various spreads to choose from. There was pumpkin, raspberry, blueberry, strawberry, peanut butter, chocolate chip, and nutella. There was even fresh fruit. Yum.
Though, I was already an easygoing eater. I was okay with anything so long it's cooked. My tongue couldn't really tell the difference between what's tasty and not.
"Morning Elsa."
"Morning auntie," I greeted.
For today, I went with oatmeal. I picked up a bowl and took a scoop of it before sitting next to my sixteen year-old sister, who was flattening nutella onto her toast.
"Morning sis! How was your sleep last night?" Anna asked as she took a bite of her breakfast.
At her question, the first thing that came to mind was the numerous nightmares I had since my parents left. Thankfully, that didn't happen last night.
"My dream was okay this time. I slept pretty well," I responded as I topped my oatmeal with some strawberries and a dollop of honey before eating
"I'm glad you're not like me then! I had a bad dream this time," the strawberry blond said, kissing crumbs off her fingers
"Really? What was it like?"
"Oh! I'll tell ya after school. We are leaving in fifteen minutes. Eat up quick!"
Nodding, I ate the last few spoons of oatmeal and chugged down my milk
"Nah, fifteen minutes? Psh, we still have time then! No need to rush Elsa. Don't choke yourself," Merida said. My seventeen-year-old cousin. The oldest of us cousins. She and me have the age difference of three months. The redhead chomped down her peanut buttered toast before sipping her favorite chocolate milk.
"Fifteen minutes are only long for you, Mer. Not for everyone," Rapunzel suddenly said, then taking a sip of her milk tea. She had just finished her bowl of oatmeal mixed with berries. She was the second youngest. My and her age were about a month apart
With breakfast done, we grabbed our bags and went in the car. Since Merida was the one who drove best, she was the one who rode the wheels to take us to school
