I've got a bit of writers block. So this may not be good. Oh well here goes nothing.
"We found out what?!" I questioned not believing some guy I barley know could possibly be my soulmate.
"Sweetie it's true. But your kind is real special. Usually when someone finds their soulmate it just, disappears. But you and Daniel, yours glows indicating that you and Daniel are soulmates," my mom explained.
"No! Just stop! I'm not believing that he's my soulmate. We just met yesterday and now I'm hearing he's my soulmate?!" I said clearly confused and shocked.
"Aspen, I think you just need to-" Daniel says before I rudely interrupted him.
"Don't you dare tell me to calm! Look I've gotta go and no one follow me!" I said grabbing my keys and walking out the door before my parents could say anything.
"Hey wait! I still need a ride!" Daniel says catching up to me outside. I sighed and then used a hand motion to tell him to come on.
During the car ride it was completely silent, the only noise that was going on was the outside and the car running. Well that silence broke very quickly, and it wasn't me that broke it.
"Aspen, I don't want to believe your parents either but hearing them and saying something about glowing marks really did put me in just as much shock as you," Daniel says.
"Daniel, I can't just take in so much stress. I'm sorry I just burst out like that. But can we please just forget this? The talk, the glowing marks?" I asked.
"Yeah sure. I hope we can still be friends," Daniel says as we reached the school parking lot. Daniel got out of the car and without another word I got out and ran up and hugged him. I could tell Daniel might have be shocked at first but he hugged back a few moments later without another word.
"Thank you for being my friend and being there for me," I said softly.
"It's fine. I'll see you tomorrow?" He asked gently letting go of the hug.
"Yeah of course," I said and walk to my car getting in it and driving to my friends house.
I parked my car in front of Taylor's house and walked up to her front door knocking on it. A minute later, Taylor came and opened the door.
"Hey, why didn't you call me and say you were coming over?" Taylor asked letting me in her house.
"Parents, glowing marks, stress," I said and just from those 3 words she completely got what I was trying to say.
"If don't mind me asking, but what did your parents say about the glowing marks?" Taylor asked as she closed the door.
"Can I tell you in your room? I don't want your parents hearing me and then start questioning me," I say.
"Of course. Come on," Taylor says as we both walk upstairs to her room. Once we got to her room she closed the door making sure her parents weren't no where near upstairs.
"So?" Taylor asked.
"They said me and Daniel are soulmates. But I couldn't take in everything at the moment and yelled at my parents and then ran out the door. Is it ok if I stay here for the night?" I asked.
"Yeah of course. You can even borrow some of my clothes," Taylor says.
"Thank you so much," I said giving her a quick hug.
*The next day at school*
The next morning Taylor let me do my usual morning routine as if I were at my house. We both took our cars because I would have to face my parents sooner or later so might as well do it after school today.
*At school*
Once we were at school Taylor and I both walked to our lockers which happened to be really close together. Once we both got our things, I saw Daniel hanging with a bunch of his friends. Taylor and I both walked over to Daniel and he looked at me as if something were wrong with me.
"Whoa who sent the hot stuff over here?" Daniel asked as both his friends laughed quietly.
"Ok, stop with your crappy talk," I said.
"Look, leave me alone ok? You wanted to so bad to forget about everything so I choose to do that too. And now good bye," he says walking away as his friends followed behind.
"What happened with him over the night?" Taylor questioned as we both just stood there some what shocked with the sudden attitude change.
"I'm not sure. I only said to forget about the glowing marks, never said anything about our friendship," I said with a shrug.
"That jerk is so getting it next time I see him," Taylor says clinching her first together.
"Please don't. If he wants to act like a jerk and hang around with the frat boys them so be it. I knew someone like him wouldn't want to be friends with me anyway," I said sighing afterwards and then walked to my first class as Taylor followed besides me.
*Lunch time*
Taylor and I walked together to the cafeteria and went to sit at our usual table but when we got there it was filled with guys including Daniel and his friends.
"Excuse me. This is our table. You jerks go find somewhere else to sit," Taylor says walking up to Daniel.
"Look Princess, I'm with the cool guys now and we sit where we want to sit. So why don't you and your stupid little friend go sit somewhere else," Daniel says turning his attention back towards his friends.
"Taylor come on it's not worth it," I said pulling on her arm trying to get her to walk away.
"Yeah run off like the scared little girl you are," Daniel says rudely.
"Shut the f*** up," I said as we walked away.
Daniels short point of view
I honestly have no clue why I'm acting like a total jerk especially to Aspen and her friend. I'm not sure what's gotten over me, but one thing for sure I'm going to fix everything
Whoa Daniel had a sudden attitude today. Why do you think he just suddenly changed into a jerk over night? Any answers? Well I apologize if this chapter sucked, I have a little writers block. I'll try to update tomorrow. It may even be from Daniels point of view again! You never know!
