chapter 2-secret spot

I have most classes with Roxanne except math which I have Josh in ,and chemistry were ny partner is Mark.Not by choice we were assigned seats.What luck I have right.It sucks cause we dont work good togeather since we dont get along.

I start walking down the long hallways with Roxanne and enter the gym.We go into the locker room and get dressed

"Crystal do you think that queen bee megan likes josh"Roxanne asks
"Of course she does shes a slut she likes everyone"I say laughing.
Roxanne nods and grins like shes not convinced.I cant imagine how she feels.
"But josh only has eyes for you"I say.

Today we have to run laps outside with the boys.When we go outside the sun is so bright and warm on my skin.Me and megan run over to Josh and Mark they have PE to.Were all running when Mark pulls me aside and says

"Thanks for what you did this morning about Megan"
"No problem she messes with one of us, she messes with all of us"I say proudly
"Did you mean what you said"Marks asks
"About what"
"Me and you being freinds"
"Of course I meant it we fight and we might hate eachother but still were sorta friends"I say trying to sound calm.

We start runing again and catch up with Roxanne and Josh.Were all sweaty by the time were done running.

"Thats it text the other girls and guys were to meet up were ditching again"Josh says.
We all nod and run to shower and get dressed in the seperate locker rooms.

Roxanne and I run threw the double doors and go to the oak tree in the feild in the back.When we get there everyone is waiting for us.No one ever comes back here anymore they dont even know theres a tree here.We all sit down around the tree and relax.Our tree is so big and tall it gives perfect shade.

"Are you guys going to the party tonight"mark asks looking at us.
"What party"I question
"Chris macantire is throwing a party at his house theres beer,a pool,even a hottub"
"Hmmm I wanna go"I say to Roxanne.
"Then lets go"we all say at the same time.

"Guys look what I found in the janitors closet "Annie says showing us a bag full of spray paint cans.
"Holy shit lets have some fun"I say grabbing two cans.
"Okay Roxanne and josh go spray paint the side of the schools wall and make it big,Annie go with tyler and spray paint the bathrooms all over"when Im done talking everyone goes were I told them to.

"What about us"Mark says.
"Oh yeah almost forgot were going to go paint some words on the teachers cars"I say while laughing.
"Lets go"Mark says leading the way.

Almost done three cars left I write different words on each car when Im finally finished I get up.Mark is next to me when suddenly he pulls me down under the car on the concreate.It hurt when I hit the concrete but soon it went away.

"What are you doing"I ask
"Shhh"he says pointing to a foot its the school security.
"Whoever did this we'll find them"I hear the security guard say.

Me and Mark are still under the car his body is pressed on mine because hes on top of me.
"My neck is cramping"He whispers.
"Then lay your head on my shoulder I dont care"I hiss back.
He lays down and I feel him relax.His head is laying down just above my boob and I feel jittery.I put my hand on his neck and ask
"Are you okay now"
"I thought you didnt care"he says
"I do now are you okay"I ask again.
"Yeah just keep your hand there it feels good"he says while putting his hand on top of mine.

"You smell good"mark says surprisingly
"Ummm thanks"I reply back awkwardly.Finally the security guard walks away.
Mark gets off me and helps me get up after sliding out from under the ugly gray car.

I sigh in relief and start to call Roxanne and Annie
"Girls is it done"I ask them.
"Yeah and Annie has a surprise for you meet up at the tree"she says and hangs up.
"Were meeting at the tree"I tell Mark.
He nods and we start walking there.

"Ummm thanks for pulling me down before the cop saw me"I mumble
"No problem what are freinds for right"Mark says towards me

We get to the tree and Roxanne is laughing at a picture.
"Whats so funny"I ask them
"You have to see this"Roxanne says handing me a picture.
Its someones blue locker spray painted with red paint spelling the words queen bitch.
"Whos locker is this"I ask.
"Its megans"Anne answers.
I start to laugh hard and hand Mark the picture,he stares at it and just smiles.He seems deep in thought.
I high five Anne and were all laughing.We hear the loud school bell ring.

"Lets go see queen bitch's reaction"Roxanne says.
We all start running towards the school and lean against the wall looking at megans locker.We see her walking towards the locker and when she sees it she screams

"Ahhhh what the hell who did this"she yells
Megan looks around and her eyes land on me.She stomps towards me.
"It was you"she yells at me.
"What the hell your officially crazy I had nothing to do with it"I snap back.

She shoves me back and I shove her but since she has heels she trips and falls.I step closer and say
"someone smart wouldnt of tried that queen B"
I start laughing and Roxanne looks down at her and just laughs at her.We all walk away while shes staring.

"Amazing"Anne says
"What"I ask comfused
"You putting her in her place"Roxanne says.
I shrug and we all get in my car.Im driving Mark is in the passenger seat Tyler and Anne are in the back while Roxanne is sitting in Josh's lap.

"Were should we go"asks Mark looking at me.
"The beach pleaseeee"whines Anne.
I nod in approval and start driving there.

Were at the beach and I can feel the soft sand in my toes.The ocean is so big and dark blue theres little waves here and there.Were laying down on the sand when Josh picks up megan and they go walk on the beach and Tyler and Anne go to get food.

Me and mark are left alone and its really awkward I dont know what to say or do.Until Mark gets up.
"Come on"he says stretching his hand out towards me.
"Were are we going"I ask him.
"Just come on or Ill carry you there"He says in a serious tone.

I take his hand and he leads the way we stop in front of a huge rock.
"This is my secret spot"he says.
We climb over the edge until I dont feel rock anymore I turn and its a huge cave.Its a rock cave.Water is dripping quickly and the little pool of water shines yellow light.

"Its its its beutiful"I stutter.
"Look there"he says pointing at the pool of water.
"Omg theres little mini fish and shells"I say amazed.
"Im trusting you to keep this place a secret"he says
I nod and say
"no problem friend"
