Our Eternity

Mini a/n, just a short one. I'm sorry i know i said I'd update, but I'm going to now, since its almost new years, and it may be for you. Anyways, Happy New Years Guys :)

You sit on the floor of your room reading The Maze Runner and thinking about how much you love Newt and his character (sorry i had too) In a lot of ways, Thomas reminds you of Newt. And that makes you smile, and after having read the series multiple times each time you think of Newt dying, you cry and cry. Cause when you think of Newt dying you think of Thomas dying, and it makes you feel uneasy and nervous, and worried, and just so many different emotions all at once. 

It's new years eve and everyone else is out partying or doing something fun and you're here crying and reading The Maze Runner. You like reading these books, you get lost in the chapters and the characters of the books. And then too soon it's over. Everything's over and there's nothing left to read.Suddenly there's a knock at your door and Thomas comes in, he sees you crying and rushes over to you "What's wrong babe?" he asks you but you just shake your head and mumble and almost unintelligible 'nothing' yet he hears you "Well it's obviously not nothing if you're crying about it. You sigh and decide to tell him.

"Okay, so you know how much i love The Maze Runner, right?"  you ask and he nods "Okay well, my favourite character is Newt. He reminds me so much of you, and each time i think of him dying, or read that page and when he dies, i think of you dying. And that scares beyond anything else that I've ever been scared of. Cause if you died i don't know what I'd do without you, Thomas. Please don't leave me, ever. I love you and i know I'm just being stupid but i love you, and if you die on me Sangster i swear I'll kill you" you finish more tears falling down your cheeks, he rubs them away with his thumbs, he looks you in the eyes and whispers to you. "I promise you don't have to be afraid. I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I love you y/n. And i intend to love you for the rest of time. Screw what other people think, i love you, and that's real. If i die, i promise you, I'll look over every single day 24/7. I promise you'll be okay, I'm here, and I'm here to stay." Thomas says and you smile at him through your tears. You hug him, your arms looped around his neck and his at your waist. 

"Can we just stay like this a while?" you whisper "Of course" he whispers back, you bury you head in his back. "I promise I'll never leave you" you whisper and he squeezes you tighter. "And i promise to you that I'm not going anywhere anytime soon. I plan to annoy you for our eternity" Thomas says and you smile, hoping that your little eternity with Thomas never ends.
