The Perk in our Love

Prologue:

Tori's POV

I wake up to hear my mother yelling from the kitchen, but as I sit up I realize my television and my stereo are gone. I can only expect the worse, we were being robbed.

Sure enough, I walked downstairs and there were 3 men in dark clothing and ski masks in my living room trying to drag our TV out the front door.

I scream at the top of my lungs. They look at me and one of then takes out a knife. Walking towards me, I sprint back up the stairs.

"Where are my parents?!?" I continue thinking.

I run up the stairs until I realized they were not following me. They are already out of the house.

"Where the hell are my parents?!" I continually ask the police.

They won't give me a straight answer, until, I get in the ambulance. A paramedic turns to me after the 15th time I've asked and says

"They were both stabbed in the leg, they are already in the hospital, as they have been for 5 days."

"What? Where was I?" I asked oblivious to the last few days.

"You were in the hospital, you just got back last night. You have been on drugs. Someone wanted you to sleep through this."
