A/N: Sorry once again for another late part...
__________________________Jefferson began to pace the room, stirring and then sipping his tea. Emma let him for a while and sat there in silence. Jefferson let out a deep sigh before sitting down again and staring into space. As Emma looked at him, she could see there was something deeper he was feeling... Guilt.
"From there we enacted the curse with the hope that the others would return to normal with losing their memories," he said, rubbing the back of his neck. He knew it wouldn't work though, with Emma's 'superpowers to tell if someone is lying' and all.
Emma sighed. "After all the stalking you did previously, I'm pretty sure you should know about my superpower by now..."
Jefferson bit his lip. "That's enough for now anyway..." he said, beginning to walk out. However, Emma grabbed his arm. He could have easily escaped her grip but couldn't instead sighed.
"You really want to know the truth no matter how awful?" he asked with out looking directly in her eyes.
"Yes," she replied immediately not knowing what to expect at all.
Jefferson thought for a moment. It would be much easier to use a dream catcher rather than tell her. And when he finally had her help, then he would finally be able to achieve what he thought wouldn't be possible before....
"Wait here a moment," he said quietly before disappearing in a puff of smoke. Emma did so, thinking over everything he had just said. She couldn't possibly take it all in.
Jefferson appeared in another room and picked up the dream catcher. A tear fell onto it and he picked it up, holding it to his chest. He needed a moment to bring his thoughts together.
"Don't Worry... Not long now..." one voice told him.
"It's all your fault. It was always your fault..." said another.
At this he went into a frenzy, he couldn't take it anymore. He screamed and banged his head repeatedly on a table before throwing it onto the wall and did the same with another. Little did he notice Emma coming and standing in the doorway silently watching him.
"IT'S ALL YOUR FAULT!!!" Jefferson kept screaming throwing and breaking various objects in the room, both with magic and without. He then picked up a picture of Grace and was about to throw it until he glanced and realised what it was. At this, he instantly fell to the floor, sobbing.
"It's all your fault," he now mumbled. After a long time, he wiped his face with his sleeve and got up. He picked up the dreamcatcher, placing Grace's picture back where it was. With one last look he put it back and turned. He froze as he saw Emma staring back at him, a slight trace of fear on her face. He cleared his throat.
"H... How much of that did you see...?"
"Most of it..." she replied softly. "I heard a loud bang and thought I should che..."
"WELL YOU SHOULDN'T...." he yelled, glaring at her and Emma raised her hands, bracing for an attack. I looked down at mine and replied there were balls of fire in both, the dreamcatcher on the floor. "I'm... I'm sorry..." he said softly. It was hardly enough to control the madness, the dark magic doubled his problem.
He approached her but she stayed with her arms braced.
"Let's just get this over with..." he said and picked up the dreamcatcher, after the fire dissipated. Emma took a step back.
"How do I know you won't erase any memories...?"
Jefferson rolled his eyes. "If I wanted to do that, I would have already. Now let's just make this easier..." As he said this, he flicked up his hand and Emma's hands were trapped behind her. Before she could do anything to release herself, he held the dreamcatcher to her head. He looked away, not daring to indulge himself in reliving the past. He did that far too much and it drove him all the more crazier. He would sort this out soon with the help from Emma he was positive that he'd get and soon everything will be as it should... Hopefully.
