Chapter 3: Detectives at work

The killer
Ricin a very high toxin that can be made into a powder . Found in caster beans but can be put in coffee. When you drink it you will die instantly die and that's what happened to Lily. Poor girl I saw her fall out of her seat and die. She deserved it.
Chloe
Another girl has died and this time we have to do something about it. We still don't know how she died but we have to figure out who has been killing our friends. I still think it's Rachel but why would she kill 2 people I mean I can see why she would kill Olivia. She hated her but Lily her best friend. I don't know.
James
After I had talked to the doctor I new she was dead. I couldn't believe it. First my sister and now Lily my friend. We have all been talking and we are going to try and figure out who the "killer" is.
This has to stop. We have some ideas on who we think it is but we have a lot of work to do.
Rachel
Oh Lily, she died and didn't even see it coming. I wasn't surprised the  " killer" killed her. I mean she was annoying and everyone thought she was my "friend " but really she was just a girl that everyone didn't like or trust.
Stephen
I guess me and Lily were friends. I don't really care about her but I do think that the investigation will be fun. I do love that kind of stuff. I am really happy to be partners with Chloe for the investigation. We have not seen each other since we found out that Lily died. Soon  I am going to try and ask her out.
Janet
I am still in shock about Lily being dead. Nobody saw it coming, especially me. I wanted to cry just like I did at Olivia's funeral. We have all decided to team up and figure out who has been doing this. I hope we can figure it out.
Chloe
"Ok let's split up and look for clues.Stephen and I will go to the crime scene which in this case is the coffee shop and Rachel, Janet, and  James will go look at Lily's paper work on the murder itself."

We arrived at the coffee shop and surprisingly it was empty. Nobody was there except the workers and a guy reading the newspaper. We went over to the lady and asked if she had witnessed a girl who had died here. She said yes and showed us where she sat when it happened since, James was the only one there with her. We examined the chair to see if there was any broken screws or anything at of place. " There is nothing."I said to Stephen.  He didn't answer. "Are you okay?"I said nervously. "Yeah." he said but I don't think he meant it. We looked around for little things but there was nothing. "Let's go!"he said. " Ok, let's go!"
Rachel
We all went to the police station to get the murder papers. The first one I picked up said, Lily Marie Watson killed at The Bean Cafe at 4:32 in the afternoon. Fell off chair and died instantly. With a boy named James Thomas." None of this is useful."I said. " We already knew all of this."Janet said. "Wait,James said handing us a tape, this could be useful." We found a old DVD player near by and put the tape in. It showed somebody pouring something in a cup with a black hoodie on and giving it to a worker. The next scene was the worker handing the cup to Lily and then her falling out of her chair. "Omg!"we all said at the same time. We took the tape and hurried to find Stephan and Chloe.

We decided to meet at the park it was just easier. " Chloe, Stephan look what we found!"I said screaming. "What, what!"they said. "Watch this."James said handing the tape and mini DVD player that we took from the station and gave it to them. After they watched it their mouths were wide open in shock and they couldn't even speak. "Who the hell would do that?"Stephan said angrily. "I don't know."Chloe said. " Lets see if we can see who it is or any clues." I said. "Good idea!"everyone said. We looked at it one more time and nothing but we did find out that whoever did it put some kind of power or something white in the coffee. That was obviously for Lily and possibly is what killed her.

James
It has been a few weeks since we found the tape and we haven't been doing much. I was on my way to the car because I was going to Chloe's house to ask her out and when I got to the car and saw something on my windshield. I picked it up and on the front said James in cursive. I opened it thinking it was from Chloe. It said, James, you and your so called "friends"are getting close to the mystery or should I say murder, but you will never figure it out no madder how hard you try. You will never figure out who I am and by the way watch your back. Keep your Friends close and your enemies closer.
