diamond pov
" You know you are in serious trouble right ?" Quiana said while making her way towards me.
"What took you so long ?" she had asked.
I started to turn around to answer but I noticed Karen coming our way and Quiana quickly turned on her heels to make a quick get away.
"Diamond where have you been you are running behind schedule once again." Karen stated with a hint of anger.
"My bad sis I had ran into some traffic you know how it is."
Tapping her foot while her hand resting on her hip Karen gave me a mean side eye."please hurry and get ready" she said while turning to head to check on everything else.
Making my way to the dressing room I thought to myself how I would not tell anyone the real reason why I was late, me and Bae got into it once again. Me and Don been together for awhile and things were awesome in the beginning but as of lately things have been going south and I have been keeping it under wraps because I know how my family is when it come to things of that nature.
"Hey Candy I'm ready when you are." I said to her while sitting my things down and walking towards her styling chair .
"Child I was born ready you know that you don't even have to ask."
We both shared a laugh Candy is to trill and for her to be Transgender you would never know it's to hard to clock her unless she tells you. My phone started to beep letting me know I had a notification , looking down to see what it was I seen it was a text from Don with another sorry excuse and that he loves me and that this is the last time. Not wanting to deal with him at the moment I flipped my phone to off until the shoot I had to stay focus and kill it.
"Diamond someone is here for you."one of Karen staff had let me know. I got up from the chair and went to the main room to see a young guy standing there with a bunch of dozen of roses. I walked over to him and took them and thanked him then handed him a tip.
"This is the last time to my one and only you shine bright just like a Diamond." Reading the card in my head I thought to myself he is so corny and fake and little do he know this is the last time I'm packing my shit and leaving.
