Amnesia

A high wall and an iron gate protected the house. Long, dark green vines surrounded these barriers, choking the furiously strong gate, and deep, bloody red coloured wall. They had engulfed the impediment.

When Lee was revealed of the many obstacles, not one person had mentioned this one.

He took a profound breath, and eventually released it as a sigh. He waited calmly... and very quietly.

He waited for his phone to ring. Minutes passed. Many minutes passed. Many mean minutes, he thought to himself as he became impatient for the sluggish call.

Eventually, he resulted to taking it out of his front pocket, which was a struggle as he had never in his life worn skinny jeans before. He clicked the 'home' button to check, doubting his ability to perceive sound. Nope. He wasn't deaf after-all, his phone was just flat. Dead. Uncharged. Off. No battery.

He was starting to become more reluctant to keeping cool and calm, although remained as he would strive more to complete this... well, what he thought of as a mission.

Tap... Tap... Tap... Noise. Specific noise. Noises. Footsteps. He paced around, unsure of what to do. He was not able to peer inside, but to resort to climbing would be ridiculous. If only he had decided to charge his phone before he came.

"How silly of me." Lee taunted himself. "I am the worst... wait, what am I again? Well, whatever it is, I am the worst of it. Hmph."

A family of birds chirped in the distance, as if to create the sense of laughter.
