The Next Day
I had dance class today and that was the only place I can ever get to be me. I picked up my bag off the floor and asked my uncle for ride. When I walked in I was swarmed by teenagers ...
"Look who showed up ...Normani Koredi" a boy with curly hair and a bright smile "oh my jeezuus Arin"I ran up to him and gave him a big hug "Hey ..so were just gonna act like i'm not here" Ally crossed her arms ." sorry Ally but you didn't tell me he was back"I turned facing her now. becoming a little nervous."I mean you too did have a interesting past together" Ally smirked "Yeah but...you kn--"getting cut off . A girl in the back screamed "Mani are we going to dance or not" I laughed
"Hey ...Normani you did good today" Arin said "thanks .. you can still use some work though"I playfully slapped his arm "well ..damn Mani....dance with me" he went over and put in the Aux cord in his phone . I looked around surprisingly everyone left. I knew Ally was waiting for me downstairs.

He walked behind me and put one arm around me and I could feel are bodies moving in sync with the song . He turned me facing him .. both of our eyes meeting contact . His hands now on my waist , still moving in sync with the song ..

He picked me up and spinned me around ...The song was now over. "I missed you Kordei" His hands still on my waist "this can't happen and you know it" I took his hands off me and went over to my bag "WHY! NORMANI" his voice echoing through the studio "because .. i don't feel the way i felt last year" I mumbled "Are you serious , who was there for you when Angel broke you heart .. Huh! me exactly" he got madder " AND who was there when you broke my heart , no one. And don't apologize , Because I know what you did and you know what you did to me .. SO don't come back and act like everything is fine because it will never be !" I can feel tears coming down my eyes . I just picked up my bag and pulled out my phone. I saw i had to 5 miss calls from Ally "Nomani you know those girls didn't mean anything to me and ..I was really immature back then..I changed baby" His voice now softer. "I have to go , Ally is waiting for me." I left the studio meeting Ally at her car "Hey you okay Mani" she looked at me " yeah .. just tired " I lied . The car ride was home and felt like for ever. "I'll see you at school tomorrow, feel better Mani" Ally said before I closed the car door. I made my way upstairs to my room, i took a shower and put on some comfy clothes. I just curled up in my bed..and fell asleep.
Dinah's pov
It was mid day and I realized Normani didn't text me . She told me she normally has dance class on Sundays. But it was still strange I didn't get a text from her. I pulled out my phone to text her just to see if she was okay

I rushed into the shower and rushed back out. I put on some sweat pants and a baseball shirt and some sneakers. It was crazy how fast I ran to my car. I didn't even get to say bye to my family. I wanted to be with Normani. I wanted to hold her and tell her how I feel .. but I know I have to wait.
When I finally get there I rang on her door bell. Normani answered " wow, I never knew you wanted to see me so bad"she let me in "Are you sure you went to dance class . You look so comfortable..a little bit to much" I laughed as we made our way up to her bed room." I did, I was just really tired" she sat on her bed. Her room wasn't anything I thought it would be. She was a a really organized person, I can tell that she loved music and books. She basically had every poster of artists I listened to. "Out of words?..so much to say when were texting but now your so quiet..fuckboy or nah" she smirked "that's funny ... But I'm admiring .. you" she began to smile " such a fuck boy" she covered her face with her hands "you love that word ... " I moved closer to her , putting a hand on her thigh " ..um..um no it's just what you are" I began to rub my hand up and down her thigh " I am..what if I showed you I'm not.."I continued saying seductively "okay" Normani grabbed my phone "what's your password she looked me in the eyes . "uhh.. why" I asked nervously " Your not a fuck boy right"she moved closer to me. I shook my head "..password Dinah Jane.." she licked her lips. "uhh..hhuh..5623". Normani entered the password. She tapped the screen a couple of times. Then shut it off . "Then put her forehead on mine "you..love me" I felt her breath on my lips "Me and Lauren were just.."getting cut off "you...love me" she moved back .."yeah..I know it's kind of weird or what ever but yeah ...I do .. I mean I don't ..I do " she smiled "your rambling , it's okay if you feel that way...I want you to prove it". My heart was now racing ....
