A/N: Hey babes! Just so you know, italics are flashbacks."Alissa!" Justin said sternly.
Justin grabbed my arm and spun me around to face him. I pushed my hands to his chest and shoved him away from me.
"Don't touch me." I shouted.
I turned around and began racing down the grand staircase that led me down to Justin's front door. He followed quickly behind me.
"Alissa, listen." He said calmly, walking slowly towards me as I had reached the bottom of the staircase.
"No!" I crossed my arms over my chest and turned towards the front door. I couldn't even stand to look at him. I trusted him and he had just thrown it all away in the blink of an eye.
All in one swift motion, he stepped in front of me and, somehow, managed to unfold my arms. He leaned in and pressed his lips against mine. They were so familiar. I couldn't help but kiss him back until I remembered what he had done.
"What the hell!" I shouted. I pushed him off of me and stormed out of his front door. I walked swiftly across the front porch and pulled my car keys out from my large bag that hung on my shoulder. I could still hear Justin following after me, while I walked towards my Tesla model X that was parked in his driveway.
"Babe, you can't just walk away." He sighed. I cringed at the sound of him calling me babe. I didn't want to listen to any of the bullshit excuses he had. I stopped and turned to face him. "Yes, Justin, I can and I am."
"I said I was sorry." He looked down at his feet then back into my eyes. His chocolate brown eyes stared straight into mine, but I was not falling for his charm this time. I was furious.
"Sorry doesn't cut it. I trusted you. You told me that you and Piper's relationship wasn't real. I-I just can believe you! I'm done, Justin. I'm done with you keeping secrets. I'm done with the lies. I'm done with us." I turned on my heels and stepped towards my car.
He didn't follow after me this time. He stood in the middle of the driveway watching my every move as I got into my car and backed out. I didn't exactly know where I was going at the moment. All I could think about was the look on Justin's face as I drove away. He looked hurt, broken, like he had lost all hope.
It took everything in me I had not to turn the car around and run back into his arms, but I couldn't let myself do that. I always promised myself that I would never stay with a man who could cheat on me. I had to keep telling myself that he wasn't actually sorry. If he really loved me, he wouldn't have done what he did. Before I knew it, tears were streaming down my face. I could barely see the road, so I pulled over to the closest parking lot.
Of course, it just so happened to be a McDonald's.
***
*5 years earlier*I slammed my car door shut. I had a bad habit of doing that. I was starving as I walked into the nearest McDonald's that was located near the current hotel I was staying at. Let's just say, I was craving some hot, greasy fries and sweet tea.
I had on some black leggings and a huge white v-neck, along with a black leather jacket. I was wearing my rather large sunglasses, with my dark brunette hair up in a messy bun. I probably looked a little bit ridiculous, but I was just trying to draw the least attention to myself as possible, which seemed to be working so far. I just wasn't in the mood to be crowded by fans or paparazzi today.
As I walked into the McDonald's, there was a big crowd inside. There was a mixture of teenage girls, young girls, and their mothers. I ignored it and waited in the line to order my food. When I got up to register, I quickly placed my order, paid, and waited quietly for my food.
