"First" Meetings

Melody's point of view

A bunch of the children swarmed me. The first to introduce themselves was a boy about five years old.  He was wearing a dark black shirt and white gym pants on.  His hair was red with blue tips.

He stuck out his hand.

"Nice to meet you, my name is Rin Fernandez, My moms the Titiana and My dad is Jellal Fernandez. "  he said pointing at the people he mentioned, who were coincidentally, standing behind him.

"Hello, my name is Melody...." I said, studying him.  He shrugged at the lack of a last name, then a girl with purple hair obscured him from my vision.

"Hello , nice to meet you Melody, my name is Sakurado. "

She was wearing a white tank top with a black jacket. She also wore dark jeans with dark brown boots.

"Nice to meet you too..." 

"Oi, move it Sakurado, it's my turn to meet her!"  Sakurado was shoved out of the way by a small blue haired girl with red eyes. The girl was wearing a red headband with white stripes. Her shirt was a loose gray tank top that said 'rock and ROLL' on it in red and black lettering.  She also wore black shorts.

She put her hands on her hips and stuck out a grubby hand.

"My names' Emily, Emily Redfox." 

So this is aunt Levy's child, mom would be happy to know Uncle Gajeel and Levy got together.

"Hello, Emily, my name is Melody."

She shrugged. "Your parents must've liked sweet sappy music to name you that."
And with that she left to go play with Rin.

My eyebrow twitched.  She was going to be trouble some.....

A girl with two braided pigtails came up to me. Her white long hair rested on a green summer dress. She was holding her hands behind her back and was looking at the ground.

She was scared so I knelt down to her level.
I placed my hand on her shoulder.

"Hello what's your name?" I said sweetly.

"My....my names.....Ivy..."

"Mhmmm, that's a lovely name, mine is Melody."

"You really think it's nice."

"I do, the Ivy that grows around my house has the most beautiful flowers in the spring time, your remind me of those flowers."

To my surprise she gave me a quick hug and with a smiling face ran off.

Two people with dark blue hair walked up to me. They looked about my age.

I stood up from my kneeling position.

The boy was shirtless and only was wearing long black pants. The girl was wearing brown pants and a Snow White long sleeved shirt that was longer in the back.

The boy introduced himself first.
"Yo, I'm Mizu Fullbuster and this is my twin sister Yuki." She waved.

"Yuki is pleased to meet you Melody."
