Out of all the K-Pop agencies, SM, JYP, YG and many more, you decided to audition for Pledis Entertainment. Way back in 2013, you auditioned for Pledis with a dance cover of 'No No No' by APink but with a Michael Jackson twist to it. Growing up, Michael Jackson had always been your biggest inspiration. The King of Pop. Michael Jackson had the biggest influence on your life and then K-Pop. Michael Jackson always had inspirational lyrics and he always gave his all when he performs.
At the time, you were 12, your parents were against the idea of you wanting to become a K-Pop idol since they thought it was stupid for a non-Korean to be a Korean pop idol. They said that if you auditioned, they probably won't accept non-Koreans. They didn't know much about K-Pop and how non-Koreans can still be K-Pop stars so you definitely knew that you could prove them wrong. As predicted, you proved them wrong and got in.
You started training very hard and you were going to debut with a girl group called 'L.U.V'. They had 14 members. Just like EXO, half promotes in China and half promotes in Korea. You were part of L.U.V-K. You were the maknae and the eldest was 20 so there was a pretty huge gap difference. You always woke up early at 6AM to practice until night.
One day, you were strongly focusing on your dancing and heavily panting and sweating. You took a drink of water and then went back to practicing hard. You decided to have some fun and began to change 'BTS-War Of Hormone' (the song you were currently dancing to) to Michael Jackson style. Coincidentally, as you were dancing, Dino was walking pass and stopped to see you having fun dancing. You guys always walked pass each other and barely knew each other existed until now. Dino was also a trainee at the time but he was about 1/2 years older than you. Dino watched in awe.
Dino then began to join in. You noticed someone dancing beside you and at first you thought it was a ghost. You turned to see who it was and you saw Dino dancing really hard in Michael Jackson style. You covered your mouth and laughed, trying to hide it. The song soon stopped and Dino put out his hand and introduced himself ,'Hi, I'm the Michael Jackson maknae, Dino!' He was really jumpy but you wanted to make friends so you shook his hand, a smile on your face and with a sweet voice you said back, ' Hi, I'm also the Michael Jackson maknae, Y/N.'
Right at that moment, Dino fell for you. Your voice, your smile, your dancing, your laughter, your personality... Dino stood there still, shocked. He felt like you were the one. As he just stood there staring at you, you had a confused face and began to wave your hand and click your fingers in front of his face. 'Hello?... Earth to Dinoooo...' You kept on saying. Suddenly, Dino snapped out of it. He then said that he was just thinking so you were curious and asked him what he was thinking about he said that you didn't need to know. Wow, rude, but you guys did just meet and you need to give him personal space.
Since you weren't much of a good conversationalist, you asked him ,'How's life?' He said its doing really well. Dino was quite competitive so he said ,'There can only be one Michael Jackson maknae... Let's dance it out.' You were quite competitive so you said ,'Sure. Ready to go down?' Dino said with a smirk ,'Not if you go down first.' You had to admit he was pretty smart with comebacks.
You guys stood in front of each other but not too close so there is enough space for you guys to dance. You waited for the song to come and Orange Caramel's 'Catallena' came on. You were trying to figure out how the hell you're gonna turn this song into Michael Jackson style... While you were thinking, Dino had already started and gave you this look that said ,'Ha!'
You then finally figured out how to do it. You were quite nervous and you didn't want to embarrass yourself. As you started, Dino gave a face that said ,'Not bad!' You began to be more confident so you continued. You came up close to Dino and as you guys were only a few centimetres apart, you tripped over your own foot and stumbled on top of Dino down onto the floor.
Your eyes were closed from the pain you were expecting when you fall but something or someone broke your fall. You opened your eyes slowly to see you on top of Dino's with your faces super close that your lips were touching. Dino's mouth was wide open in shock. Your eyes met. After a few long seconds, you quickly got off of him and apologised to him and ran back to your dorm. Dino yelled out your name but you just ran back to your dorm where the rest of your group members are.
By the time you got to your dorm, you saw everyone else at the kitchen table eating dinner. The group leader, Soojin, asked you ,'Hey, Y/N, what happened, your face is so red? Do you want to eat?' You shook your head and went to your bed. You shoved your face into your soft pillow as you had a flashback of what just had happened. You turned your body around so that you were facing the ceiling. You kicked your blanket in embarrassment. 'Aish! Why did I do that!? That was my first kiss.... Why with him????? A guy I just met...' You asked yourself in frustration. Your body was already heating up just by the thought of it. You tried to sleep it off but it kept on bugging you, finally you were able to sleep.
