Two days after the date, I got a text from Jay: Hey babe! Had fun cant wait 2 do it again! I didn't respond back because I didn't know what to say, but my mom came in from the store and handed me a bag. "Here." She added. I looked in the bag and saw the usual: u by kotex tween pads and kotex regular tampons. Then it reminded me: my period hadn't come! When I started my period at age 9 she hung up a calendar outside my room and we made a red dot when my period came. I rushed upstairs and counted 28 days which was always the amount of time in between my period, but it was day 32! I tried to calm down and tell myself I wasn't pregnant but Honestly I didn't know. I told Meagan to come over and I explained it to her. "April you are just overreacting. Your period is only a few days late but I will go get you a pregnancy test if you don't trust me." She responded and with that she was walking down to cvs pharmacy to buy a pregnancy test.
