An antique

This garden was.

Covered in dust

Old leaves, a cobweb or two.

A forgotten paradise,

Left to rust.

Without a care,

by me or you.

Forever it shall remain,

Unnoticed, unseen.

Old and dying,

Fading from its once green.

Long and hard,

its journey has been.

And after an eternity,

its bright colors finally dim.

Its beauty turns

gray and grim.

But now its time,

For its ending to begin.

Now only ghostly remnants remain,

of its once beautiful glory.

But no one ever hears,

its enchanting story.
