I'm finally able to walk without her. Hard to believe that my sister is really a psycho like that. How the hell do you even help someone that does that sort of stuff? Is there a place to take them? Or would they try to harm her?
Forget about it, there's no way I could even get her there. And she might figure it out before I even try it, she just knows me like that. Actually, I already kinda feel like somebody's watching me. There's no way it's her though, right? I'm sure I'm just being paranoid.
Just as I thought I was free, I realized that I was walking without even thinking about where I would go. I turned a corner and walked down an alleyway. Are we in a different town or something? None of this seems remotely familiar.
I found myself wanting to turn back more than anything, but that's when several men, taller and better built than me, came around. I doubt they were waiting for someone to just walk by, so why come out now?
The man behind them, tall with dark hair and a black leather jacket walked past them all. Safe to assume he must be the leader then. He stopped in front of me, so I took a small step back and gulped.
"Don't worry, buddy." he said. "We won't hurt ya, but only if ya hand over your money." the guys behind him started to laugh. This guy is nuts, but I don't think I can go against him, if any of them at all.
"Sorry, but I don't carry money on me." he looked down at me, sizing me up, then he gave a murder stare. "Look," he said pulling out a switch blade and flipping it open, threatening me...effectively I might add.
"If ya don't carry money, then ya must have a card, right? Come on, no one here wants to hurt ya, just play along nice and we won't have a problem." I stepped back. I do have money, but I can't give it up, I need it to escape my sister.
"So? What'll it be?" the other guys were starting to move in on me too. There's no easy way out of this, but I noticed that they were a little open on the left side. If I can make my way over there, maybe I can run away from them. As long as I don't choke.
I backed myself into a corner and waited until they were a little closer to me. Thank fully, he held his knife in his right hand, on the opposite side of my intended direction. They just need to be a little closer.
When they were right in front of me, I sprinted forward and tried to get past the big bald guy on my right side. I got almost got all the way, thank god I ran track, but he managed to grab the sleeve of my jacket.
At least it was long sleeved. I slipped both my arms out and ran out of the alleyway. It was a good jacket, but it's not worth playing tug of war with a thug. Besides, Kyoko gave it to me, and the farther I am away from anything about her, the better.
I ran as fast as I could, making sure that they weren't there. I almost bumped into a bunch of people looking back so much. Unfortunately, my wallet was in the jacket, so they ended up with my money anyway.
Nowhere to go, no money, and a psycho sister who's probably looking for me right about now. How could my day possibly get any better? Who knows, maybe I'll get mugged again.
I wandered until I found a park and sat at one of the benches. It had a pretty nice view of the lake too. I guess this isn't so bad for now, but I still have to watch out for more strangers along the way.
I sat and watched the small lake fish swim around for a few hours before I realized that it was late. I went in to my pocket and reached for my phone, but it wasn't there. Crap, Kyoko must've taken it.
I was ready to give up and fall asleep, so I did just that, almost. A lady came to me from behind and started to poke at me. "Excuse me." I turned to look at her. My breath stopped for what felt like an eternity. She was beauty incarnated.
She gave me a strange look before she continued. "You don't look like you have a place to stay, so would you like to spend the night at my house? It's not too far away from here."
I took a moment to swallow spit before I answered her. "Umm, thank you, i-if it's not a bother then I would love to come." she clasped her hands together in glee, then she took me by the hand and pulled me along.
