Lily's POV
*The next day*
I was sitting on the end of my bed anxiously waiting for Andi to text me back. Ding Finally!
Text:
A: It was amazing!!
L: ohh!!! Give me all the details
A: He took me to a small cafe
L: And?
A: We walked around for a little bit
L: And?
A: Then he took me home and that was it
L: That's all?!?!?
A: Yeah!! What am I missing??
L: The kiss! Did he kiss you!?!?
A: well yeah
L: OMG!! Really!?!? How was it!?!?
A: I'll tell you about it the next time I see you!! But I have to go!! Bye
L: Bye!!
I plugged my phone into my charger and walked out of my room. I walked into to the kitchen to grab some water. Kaden was sitting at the kitchen table eating breakfast. "Morning" I said putting the water back in the fridge and sitting next to him. He sat there stirring the leftover milk in his bowl. Silence filled the air. "Hello?" I said getting annoyed. "What?" He said looking up at me. "What's wrong?" I asked starting to get up. "Nothing." He said picking up his bowl and putting it in the sink. "Let me guess....mom yelled at you for doing something that you weren't supposed to do?" He looked at me like I just slapped him or something. "Shut up, Lily" and with that he walked out. I stood there as the front door slammed shut.
I'm starting to think that Kaden is hanging out with the wrong people. I mean I'm the oldest and I feel like I need to look out for him. But I don't think he wants my help.
A few hours passed by and Andi texted me.
TEXT:
A: Wanna hang?
L: I'll be right over.
TEXT END
I grabbed my bag and headed for the front door.
Andi's POV
I waited in my room until I heard the doorbell ring. I got up and ran downstairs. "Coming!" I said as I ran to the front door. I opened it and said "YOU WON-" I covered my mouth. "Caleb?" I said shocked. "You don't look so excited. Is this a bad time?" He said blushing. "Oh. It's not that I thought you were Lily." I said smiling. "Oh." "Yeah. Come in" I said opening the door just enough room for him to come in. "So? When is Lily coming over?" He said as he took off his shoes. "Um. Right about no-" the door bell rang. "Now" I said as I ran to the door. "Hey!" I said opening the door and letting her in. "He-" she caught off guard as she noticed Caleb standing behind me. "Oh. Hi Caleb." She said smiling. "Hi." He said. This is awkward.
