"M-my name is Erika, I have not come here to harm you in any way, I promise." She has her hands raised above her head and her face is painted with fear. I relax and sit in a criss crossed way. "Then why are you here?" I ask. "B-bring him in." Erika says. I raise an eyebrow and in walks a boy who appears only about a year older than I. Erika then backs out of the room and leaves the boy with me. I glare at him and with one swift move I pin him to the wall and hold him by placing my forearm on his chest. "Who are you?" I growl. "The man called Matthew Droughst would like to ask if you would join him for a check up, but he would like to request you not harm him while in the appointment." This boy does not seem to have fear in him, odd. I think to myself. But at the mention of Matthew Droughst I start to slowly press my forearm into his neck. "You can tell that old man to go die." I say darkly.

"P-please miss." He says trying to suck in air. Miss? I am quite shocked to be referred to in such a manner. "Why are you trying to be formal with me? Did they tell you to act like this?" I say starting to get even more angry. He shakes his head, "N-no, but I like you and feel a kind of respect for you i-is all." I slowly start to release him and once my arm is fully off his neck he leans his back against the wall and falls into a coughing fit until he takes a few deep breaths and goes back to normal. "What is this respect bull crap? What reason do you have to respect me? I'm not even human, I'm a monster according to that pig Droughst." I pull back my fist and get ready to strike him when he holds up his hand in front of his face, "Hit me if you wish, I knew you wouldn't believe me but I thought I'd give it a try. But just know I'm being genuine right now." Something about him strikes me. He appears to be telling me the truth. I'll trust him, I'll cooperate. For now. "Fine, I'll do it." I say to him.

"Thank you miss—" I cut him off, "Because I have agreed to see that man, I want something in return." I raise my voice for anyone who's listening. I hear the intercom turn on, "What do you want?" I know that voice, it's him, Matthew Droughst. "I want to see the other experiments before you examine me." I pause, "and if that doesn't happen, your death is enviable." I tone low and deadly. I can smell fear, and it isn't the boys. "Fine, I will allow that. However you are not allowed to make any kind of attempt to leave." He tells me. "Fine, deal." This will be the first time in five years that I am able to walk in the halls of the facility. I will finally be able to walk in somewhere that is not my cell. The door creeks open and there are about ten guards with guns waiting. Like they can kill me that way. I think being slightly amused at the pathetic guards. "Let's go." I hear the rough voice of one of the guards say. For a moment it felt like time slowed down as I took my first step out of my cell.

My eyes dart to one of the guards who is holding a pair of handcuffs and looking rather nervous. "E-excuse me but, I was told to have you put these on." His voice is shaking. "Do you think that will do anything?" I say glaring at him, "To put it simply, I refuse." I say bluntly. "B-but—" he begins to speak then I cut him off, "If you don't want to die, I suggest you shut up." I growl. Then he falls silent and someone mumbles, "Let's just get going." And that is exactly what we do. They lead me to the cell next to mine, and I recognize the smell and look of the metal used on the door. "This was Two's cell." I murmur. "Do you mean Experiment Two? Yes it was, now it is home to Experiment Fifteen." I clench my fist. "Open the door." I demand. Erika nods and the guard opens the door and with a loud creek it swings open and I enter. My eyes scan the room and notice a rather young child sitting in the corner curled up into a ball and smelling of fear.

"P-please, it shouldn't be time yet." His voice is so small and gentle, and so young. I softly walk over to him and crouch down "Hello there." I say gently. He looks up and I can see the wetness under his eyes from crying. "W-who are you?" He asks trying to shrink into the corner. "I am Experiment Three. They told you me you are Fifteen is that correct?" I ask. He nods. I see his eyes move to look at my hair, "So pretty." He breathes. "You have unusual hair Three." He tells me. "I know, and you have unusual eyes." I say smiling at him. They boy has one strikingly blue eye and the other is a dark red. He looks away from me and covers his red eye, "Don't look at it!" He pleads. "Do not worry, I think it looks nice." He slowly looks at me, "Do you think so?" He says with uncertainty. I nod, "I do. Now, what do they do to you Fifteen?" I ask him. "T-they inject me with drugs that are suppose to help eyesight, that's how I have my red eye. It has improved my sight, but not how they wanted." He pauses and looks nervous. "What have they done to you?"

"I am a human weapon. They gave me steroids and brain enhancing drugs along with many other things." I explain. "How long have you been like the way you are?" He asks, curiosity filling his voice. "Ever since I was very very little I've been getting injections." Every time this boy speaks I can hear the pain in it, he's been through so much. I think, feeling a pain in my heart. He reaches up and touches my face, "I can see the scars that have left on you." His worrying gaze and his warm touch makes me flinch. "I can also see your power, it's beautiful." I am struck with wonder at his words, "No one even knows about that, how do you?" I ask in surprise. "It's my eye," he points to his red eye, "it can see things no one else can." He smiles at me, I can tell he hasn't smiled like this in a long time. I start to get lost in the moment and before I know it, "It's time to go now." I hear Erika say. "I'll remember you and your eye. Thank you, and goodbye."

"Goodbye, angel." He says to me. I haven't felt such emotion in my heart in so long, it feels like a spring that has been bone dry for years has suddenly sprung water again. "What did he say to you before you left?" I hear Erika say crossly. "That is no concern of yours." I visit many other Experiments, see many children who have been through such hardships. I will save these children, I swear it. I think to myself. Whenever I saw a child experiment I would ask what they are there for, many said they were being tested with disease curing drugs, some said they were being used for the improvement of humans. A few told me they were being prepared to be weapons just like me, those ones were the oldest of the children I had visited, bust all but two of them were on the verge of death. "Humans are sick." I had said after I had seen a girl only two years younger then I, who was so pale and sickly looking she would most likely die very soon.

Erika and the others who were with me said nothing and only ignored my comment. "Alright, that is everyone, it is now time to see Mister Droughst." Erika said to me. "Let me ask you, how many children do you have here?" I say giving her a disgusted look. "Around thirty at the moment." She replied, so simply and no sense of regret in her voice. "I see." I say quietly. We eventually make it to the room and as they open the door I see the pigs face. "Greetings Destroyer." Mister Droughst says addressing my entrance into the room. "It has been a while, coward." I say, hostility filling my voice. I notice the smell of fear fill the room Droughst taking a small step backwards. "You are sweating." I tell him. He quickly takes out a handkerchief and wipes his brow. He then clears his throat and straightens posture, "If you would please take a seat on that table.

After five years this room is exactly how I remember it, still darkly lit, still smelling of terror. The table that Droughst told me to sit on is exactly the same too. I suddenly get stricken with the smell of blood. Blood? What happened before I got here? "Was there someone in here before I?" I say, demanding an answer. "Ah, yes, I had to take care of another experiment before you, so your request actually worked out in my favor because you took quite a bit of time outside. But..." He trails off, "How did you know someone else was in here?" He asks. "I could smell blood, and a very fresh scent of another person." I see his jaw clench, "I see your sense of smell is as sharp as ever." He says crossly. "Let's just get this over with shall we?" I say starting to get angry. "Right then, first I would like to X-ray you." He tells me.

"Fine." He opens a door in the far part of the room that leads to a rather crude looking room with an X-ray machine in it. Once that it over with I get seated back on the table and just like every other time in this room, the procedure is performed with him taking my blood pressure and then checking my eyes, and also by drawing blood. After that he takes put a vial and repairs to stick it in my arm. I jump back and get ready to lash out if he moves. "What are you trying to do?" I growl. "This is only meant to fix a glitch in your DNA." He tells me. "What's the glitch?" I demand. "Every so often you tend to get these kind of strange lumps in your back around where your shoulder blade is and I believe you have some kind of reaction to emotions because they appear whenever you get aggravated." His explanation is genuine and I do not think he is lying.
