Chapter 14

APOLIGIES: To everyone reading, it's been forever and i am sooo sorry!  My excuse is WRITERS BLOCK!!!!!!!!  It's horrifying but true, i know how the story will end and where the characters will be and stuff so im trying to work backwards in my mind to make the story flow to the end!  If that makes any sense :p  for all i know i could be talking gibberish!  Anyways enough chatting!  Now presenting:  CHAPTER 14!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Romeo's POV

     I can't believe i'm doing this!  I thought to myself for the hundreth time.  I was in a fitting booth at X-Traordinay Weddings, trying on my tux, or as i call it monkey suit.  I'm wallowing in self-regret of being a groomsman in this wedding, when i hear Chaser from the next booth over. 

"Quit sighing so loud, or i will personally come over to your booth and kick your a**!"

I smile at this.  "You just wanna see me nude!"  I reply, taunting him.

"Dude i see you nude all the time in the locker room, for God's sake we've taken showers together!" 

I bust up, knowing he doesn't mean it that way.

There was a pause, then; "Wait i didn't mean it that way!"  He yells over, realizing what he said.

I only laugh harder.  I hear Chaser pulling back his curtain and so i step out of my booth too.  One thing i notice when i step out of the booth is the foreign fitting attendant staring at us in horror.  Tears of amusement fill my eyes as i double over laughing, knowing she heard the conversation between Chaser and I.  Chaser obviously realizes this too, for he turns red and starts to babble.  "I didn't mean it that way, swear!  See we play for the same school team, and....."  He gets no more out for the attendant, scurries off, scarred for life.  Chaser turns to me with a scowl, and with difficulty i manage to stop laughing.  

"Tough break Dude."  As i fight off more laughter.  Chaser scowl deepens.

"If she wasn't foreign, then she would have understood what i meant!"  He said.

"Right!"  I mock, but just then a tall, slim, young man comes hurrying around the corner towards us. 

"Hello Gentlemen, Mina had an emergency so i came to replace her."  He said smiling at Chaser broadly.  He looks Chaser up and down before extending his hand, ignoring me he says; "I'm Robert by the way, but you can call me Bertie."  He bats his eyelashes, and on closer inspection i notice a little make-up.  

Chaser looks confused by the attendants interest.  "Uhhh nice to meet you?"  Chaser replies, shaking 'Bertie's' well maincured hand.  I start to grin as i realize what was going on.  'Bertie' see's that Chaser's bowtie is undone and clucks his tongue.  'Bertie' goes over to tie Chaser's bowtie and after, runs his well manicured hands down Chaser arms.  Chaser jerks back.  "Whoa man!"  He says while looking creeped out.  'Bertie' smiles; "Mmm, mmm, mmm, rock solid muscles!  Just the way i like 'em,  i could eat you up with a spoon!"  I crack up, and Chaser  finally realizes what's happening.  "Dude i'm not.... i mean i like...."  He stutters nervously, and turns beet red.  

'Bertie' shakes his head knowingly; "Mina told me all about it, and you even have a school team with group showers!"   He smiles.  "I wish they had that when i was in school, all they had then was a club."  I  crack up and both 'Bertie' and Chaser turn to scowl at me.  I manage to say; "I'm sorry, i'll just go change and take this suit to another attendant.  Bertie starts to say yes when Chaser starts to say no.  I smile, going back in to the booth, still hearing words of sweetness to Chaser from Bertie.  Chaser, charmer to women, can't manage more then a few words to Bertie without getting embarrassed and turning so red he couldn't speak.  I finish dressing into street clothes, and quietly slip out of the booth.  Chaser see's me and starts to open his mouth.  I wink at him to let him know i'm okay with his relationship with Bertie, (There is none though.), and start to walk away.  I laugh quietly, forgetting my earlier regret about being a groomsman.  BEST TUX FITTING EVER!  I think to myself as i walk away.  I round a corner still grinning widely, thats when i see her, and my day is shot to H*ll. 

Author's Note:  I bet you all THINK you know who it is!  By all means take guesses on the comments then see if your right!  The one who's right, get's a prize!!!!!  No cheating though!!!!!!!!  Also i hope this chapter was o.k. next one, swear is heating up!!!!!!  It should be up tomorrow!
