The only thing I have is the small town I lived in before. The world I lived in before. But there was a man I saw.
The man Michael saw.
The man we saw.
He was getting closer.
I thought he was going to take us or something like that. But, he said the words I never thought he would say.
"What do you want?" He didn't answer.
"HEY!" I yelled. I put my hand under his chin and flicked him so that he looked up at me. "What do you want." I said gritting my teeth.
"Listen kid,"he said gritting his teeth and looking up at me. He turned to see if anybody was watching. "I'm not your friend. I'm not here to stay and I haven't got your back."
Well, that makes me feel a whole lot better. (No it doesn't)Michael held his hand out, meaning for the other guy to shake it.
"The name's Michael. I just want to know who you are. Maybe we can help you but you have to tell us who you are."
The man grabbed Michael by the collar of his shirt. "Listen, kid. I am getting you out of here and after that, you will never see me again. Trust me. I have been in these parts of this place and let me say-you would never get out of here without me. Understood?"
"Yes."--------------------
