Okay, so first let me start this whole shebang by sort of apologizing for the preceding chapter. It is sort of weird, and I'm not 100% sure how I feel about it, but I left it in the re-written version rather than cutting it because basically this scene plays sort of like a movie in my head, and I like that. I tried to fix the poor writing as best as I could, and I feel like overall, the chapter sort of fails, but it has its redeeming qualities that sort of makes it okay. Also the song doesn't 100% match, but not all of them have, so that's okay too. It could have been worse. Example: In my rough draft this chapter was the epilogue, under the heading of "Two Months Earlier." Why my 14-year-old self would do such a thing is beyond my now 18-year-old self, but I digress.

Okay, so with that out of the way, today I want to hear about one super cool thing you have done. It doesn't have to be something as big as traveled the world or fed the hungry, it can be something as small as finishing a project you started (probably my biggest struggle with writing) or made something cool! Something super cool that I've done was actually auditioning for the final season of American Idol! It was super fun, and although I didn't make it too far, I was so grateful for the experience and I definitely haven't given up on my dream of singing!
But enough about me, I want to hear from you amazing people! Go go go!
