The First Day

I strutted toward the old, beaten up High School with a new found pep in my step. I always loved transferring schools because it gave me another group of fresh meat to terrify. I was the most badass girl at every school I've been enrolled in previously. This school was nothing new. Just another huddle of fish waiting for the bait.

I arrived at the cracked cement steps and took a step up. I made it to the front door and pushed it open with as much force as I could muster. The doors slammed open and I walked in fiercely. I had on a black crop top with the word badass printed in white on it. My ripped my jeans lead right into my black combat boots. I like to look the part. I walked down the tattered hallway and popped in a piece of gum, absorbing the stares directed at my ass from childish boys.

Boys liked me because I seemed dangerous. Like a threat. Or a challenge. Maybe it was my flawless skin and teeth. Or my bright green eyes that darted sassily. My hair was a long purple ombré into a blue which fell into almost a black. I was tan and had a few piercings. I got my eyebrow pierced at 14 and my lip and nose for my 16th birthday.

The stares hadn't bugged me at any other school but for some reason a certain group of people's gaze caught my attention. I looked over and saw a tall, handsome boy with eyes that felt like they were staring into my soul. This boy was accompanied by an awkward yet sexy boy that flopped his body around strangely while drooling over a gorgeous redhead. The rest of the group didn't seem to catch my eye. There was a very small yet pretty Asian hanging on the side of the mysterious leader still staring daggers in my side, and a smaller boy. His expression was intimidating yet soft.

He had golden hair and gorgeous blue eyes. He was the boy your dad was worried about. He licked his lip and smiled towards me. I smiled back and saw him signal me over. I changed my direction and walked towards this group of friends with a small grin plastered on my face.
"Hello. I'm Liam" the golden haired boy said as soon as I was in listening range.
"Lizabeth" I responded, taking up his held out hand.
"This is Scott, Kira, Lydia and Stiles." He motioned towards the dorky boy when he said Stiles. The pieces fit into my mind that Scott was the dark, mysterious boy who had earlier been giving me a death stare, Kira was his Asian chick, Lydia was the redhead and Stiles was the boy staring at Lydia. I said hello to all of them and introduced myself. They asked a bit about me, which I didn't mind, and they invited me to Scott's house later that day. I nodded and soon left the group, getting his address for later on.

I found my way to the office to get my schedule and locker combination and left as quickly as possible. I found my locker and pried it open. I began putting stuff away and soon felt a hot breath down my neck. I swiveled and saw none other than Liam. He pressed his soft lips against my neck and whispered sensually into my ear.
"I know who you are. You're used to being to one in control. The one playing with others emotions. The badass as some would say. You know how to drive guys insane." I looked at Liam with a fake sense of control and responded to his little game.
"Hon. Of course I do. And if you think this school will be any different, then you are mistaken. I say, this school should be the easiest to manipulate."
"Sweetheart. Don't get used to that here. I know you're nervous right now. I can hear your heartbeat and your scent reeks of lust." The next thing I knew, Liam's lips ripped of me and he was gone. I stood with my back to the wall trying to slow my heartbeat.

I was incredibly confused at what just happened. What did he mean he could hear my heartbeat? And you can't smell lust. I was impressed that this kid was able to twist up my insides so much. This boy wanted a challenge. He wanted a game. A test of sorts. I would win. I always win. Liam might cause my heart to flutter, but that's only because of how much courage he has. He didn't scare me. If it was a challenge he wanted... It was a challenge he would get.

When I was able to regain myself, I packed for class and walked the way the paper the office people told me. I opened the door and sat at the only seat open while chewing my gum lazily. I rested my foot on another students desk and watched as the teacher glanced back at my late entrance. The boy seated next to me checked out my body with me clearly watching. I was back in control. Liam took away my power temporarily but it was back faster than it left me. I looked at the now turned on teen boy and smiled flirtatiously. I winked and bit my finger never breaking eye contact. I got close to pathetic boy and pulled his head towards mine, I kissed his jawline sexually and pushed his head away quickly. I didn't focus on him the rest of the class. After the bell rang, he came to me asking for answers but I just winked and giggled as I left. I turned and saw a golden haired boy. Liam. What's this boys problem? Why can't he leave me alone? I rolled my eyes and walked off and felt his glare on my neck. I put my class work away and got ready for lunch. I wondered where I would choose to takeover at the meal but was harshly taken away by the feeling of a hand on my waist. I turned and frowned as my heart jumped. Ugh. Liam.
