-hey cheechee! Camila greeted dinah as she stood before them.- normani...ally! She greeted the two other girls with a smile as she took a seat in between dinah and lauren.
-hey camila! The three of them reciprocated with a cheer.
-and you must be lauren..the new girl, I'm camila. Camila said with a smile as she turned to the girl.
-y..yeah...I know" lauren stuttered in her words not expecting camila to greet her but she quickly composed herself before she continued. -but how do you know my name. Lauren asked even though she already knew the answer. She thought camila would have added her cheerleader title to claim that she is popular but the girl didnt.
-well first, you are new here and this place is pretty small so everyone knows everyone, plus dinah couldnt stop talking about you all through the weekend. Camila said with a chuckle and lauren revelled in the sound. She wondered what they must have been talking about but there was no way she could find out and that made her come back to planet earth after wondering off for a minute.
-oh. that was only what lauren could say out before camila continued.
-its nice to meet you lauren...you have really pretty eyes. Camila told her as she whisphered the last part so that the other girls couldn't hear and lauren couldnt help but blush at her statement.

-girl where have you been and what took you so long? Dinah asked as she interrupted lauren's gratitude. Camila turned back to her and replied.
-I told you I was going out with my parents dinah. Camila told her without saying anything further as she gave her a look that said she wanted the topic dropped without it even starting. lauren caught on to the look while the other girls remained oblivious since they were all typing away on their phones. Dinah just shrugged and began typing away on her own phone and Camila did the same with her phone which was in her hand. Lauren watched with her side eye as the screen came to light but she couldnt clearly see the screen saver. She watched as camila giggled to herself and she knew that the girl must have obviously read her message. Lauren loved the fact that she was the reason for that giggle as she saw camila quickly type something on her phone.
Lauren's phone vibrated in her jean pocket and she couldnt have been more greatful at this point that the phone was on silent. She didnt even bother to take it out and open it because she was closely sitted to camila and she didnt want to make any mistake that will out her.
-who is making you all giggly walz? Dinah's voice broke the silence again as she arched an eyebrow in anticipation.
-well its none of your business cheechee. Camila told her with a small giggle. Everyone was done with their lunch and they all made their way to the trash can to empty the trash. Lauren was the last to drop her trash.
-hey lauren...mind if I see you for a second? Camila asked softly after she made sure that the other girls were no longer in sight.
-yeah. Lauren replied casually but on the inside, her heart was thumping against her chest, like she was about to explode at any minute.
-so uhm. Camila trailed off as she nervously played with her fingers and lauren noticed just how cute she was being and wanted to interlock those fingers with hers but she had to stay serious.--I dont know if you know that ive been talking to your brother.
-oh really?...which one of them?. Lauren acted like she didnt know what camila was talking about.
-lawrence.
-oh..yeah, lawrence. I know about you the two of you, he actually asked me to check up on you today when you werent in school yet. Lauren explained softly.
-yeah I know...he told me. Camila replied with a small nervous chuckle.--so I was just wondering if maybe we could hang out sometime...you know, be friends?. Camila asked as her eyes sparkled with hope. Lauren loved how the brown orbs stared at her as she almost got lost in them.
-yeah...yeah i mean, you are already friends with my brother, so it won't be bad if I became friends with you too. Plus you complemented my eyes, so that should be enough reasons. Lauren told her with a chuckle and she noticed the blush that crept to camila's face at her last sentence.
-so that is a yes th--. The bell rang signalling the end of lunch.--we should get to class.
-Yeah. Lauren replied as they both joined the other girls and headed to the classroom. While lauren was sitted at her usual spot with normani, she took out her phone to check out what camila had sent her.

Lauren softly laughed at the message before she typed in her reply.

She sent the message and watched as camila glance down at her phone. She watched the girl smile as she read the message before she saw her typing in. A few seconds later, lauren's phone vibrated in her hands.

Lauren had a small smile on her face as she read the message that camila actually likes her as a person and noticed a little quirk about her...atleast even if camila never gets to know that she is the lawrence because she doesnt intend for her to ever find out, she is getting to know her as her real self, which was still a good thing. She quickly typed in her reply

Lauren watched as the girl concentrated on her phone and she saw how dinah was trying to get hold of the phone which was keeping camila from entertaining her gist but camila was too quick for her. She saw how camila ended up telling her something which made dinah huff and concentrate back on the phone that was in her hand. A few seconds later, lauren received a beeb and read the message.

Lauren read through the message and she didnt know if she should be glad that camila finally gave her a hint to her already known answer that she might be the one the other cuban girl is crushing on or to be sad that she was doing this to camila. As lauren was about to type in her reply, the teacher came inside to start the lectures, leaving lauren sorry towards the situation she had caused camila.
