The Longest Winter Ever

Chapter 7

I felt a strange trickle of blood down my forehead. The smell of gunpowder and blood filled the air as I giggled to myself.

"Don't you know it's rude to shoot a lady," I said sweetly.

I smoothed my skirts with my hands and took out a handkerchief. The wound disappearing as I wiped my forehead.

"That hurt you know."

The two vampire slayers looked on at me in shocked silence.

"Now then Sekkusu, Revan I do believe I know why you two have come to this dreary little town in the first place; and yes I do already know your names. I do my research well," I said.

The shorter slayer was the first to recover, pulling himself to his full height of 5'10; trying to give an air of intimidation. This one has a secret.

"Who are you, why are you here, and how do you know our names?" He said darkly.

"Like I said." I stuck out my hand in greeting, "My name is Ayu, Deadly sex goddess at your service. As to why I'm here I felt a disturbance here quite a while ago on my travels and stopped here about 3 weeks ago."

The taller one Sekkusu, now he was a handsome young man. 6'2 chocolate brown hair and the bluest eyes I've ever seen. Anyway Sekkusu steps forward, having processed the information, and says

"well my dear you still haven't answered one of my partners questions, how do you know our names?" He said with a glint in his eye.

"Well now that wouldn't be fun now would it."

I booped his nose, turned around and started walking.

"Oh and by the way the vamp nest is 3 miles east of here." I said slowly.

" It's huge and I think you'll need all the help you can get."

Turning around slowly I look Sekkusu in the eye.

"What do you say?"
