I stepped into the arena, climbing up endless stairs to get to my seat. This was my first concert ever, and I was internally fangirling because I was about to see Ed Sheeran live! Sure, my seats weren't exactly what you'd call good, but I was more than happy that I could see him at all! Once I reached my seat I noticed I was at the absolute top and only two seats, one mine and one empty one, were there. As soon as I settled in my seat and had my camera ready, the lights dimmed and the arena filled with shrills screams from thousands of girls.
It was then that I heard the loud footsteps of a tall figure coming, and my stomach dropped when he climbed to my row, standing next to me. It was far too dark to see what the stranger looked like, but from what I could tell he was tall, lengthy, and had very curly and voluminous hair.
Ignoring the part of me that screamed that the guy seemed creepy, I clamped my mouth shut and pulled out my camera, ready to go. I shuddered when I heard a husky voice whisper in my ear,
"Hello, beautiful." I jumped in place and squeezed my eyes shut, before opening them and turning to see a familiar face looking down at me. It then hit me that this guy looked like he could be Harry Styles' twin. I pursed my lips before answering,
"Hello." My voice faltered and just then the arena broke out into the loudest scream of all. My head snapped back, seeing Ed had just entered the stage with his hands in the air. Even though I was far away from him, I could see his fire red hair from where I stood.
"And what's your name, love?" The Harry-look-alike asked, his voice leaving shivers down my spine.
"I-I'm Amarilis." I stuttered, forcing my eyes to remain on Ed who was helping the drummer on stage with something.
"I'm Harry. I must be pretty lucky that you came alone." I ignored the fact that it sounded like he wanted to rape me and it hit me that this was Harry, Harry Styles. Unless this was a way he lured his victims in; pretended he was Harry just because he looked like him-
Stop it Amarilis! I could never let my mind wander. I turned to see Harry expecting a response so I groaned under my breath,
"That's nice, now I'm going to watch the concert?" I snapped. I didn't mean to sound rude but I wasn't like most girls; I wasn't interested in Harry, the guy from the cutesy, bubblegum band. From what I could already tell, he seemed big headed and I came here for one soul purpose; to see Ed.
The rest of the concert I couldn't help but release my inner fan girl. I admit; I did squeal and dance around, yelling Ed's name and taking enough pictures to take up all the space in my camera's memory. The only problem was that I felt Harry's eyes on me the whole time, even when he didn't think I noticed. Not only was I annoyed, but he didn't seem to take the hint that I wasn't interested!
When it was time I had already came up with the idea to go to the other side of the building and see Ed leave, even though the chances were slim. I took off down the stairs, girls flooding from the rows. And with my luck, I got shoved and fell right into one of the rows. Girls stepped over me, no one even giving me a second glance.
Of course, real smooth Amarilis. When I pushed myself off the ground and tried to stand up, I felt my ankle give in and I toppled into the seats, moaning in pain. How the heck was I supposed to leave and find Ed now? When someone stuck their hand out for me, I could already guess who it was. I peered up and saw exactly what I was anticipating.
Harry.
I reluctantly took his hand and I was shocked by the amount of the strength he had to pull me up. I winced and put all my weight on to my left ankle since I couldn't bare the pain standing on the right one. Harry seemed to notice what was wrong and he slung an arm around my waist, letting my lean my weight on him. I took a deep breath and gave him a small smile, thankful for his gratitude in helping me.
It still confused me in why Harry was even willing to help me, but even though I wouldn't admit it I was very appreciative of it. Harry practically carried us down the flights of stairs and I got confused when I saw him leading us towards the backstage area.
"What are you doing?" I gawked as he pushed the door open and standing there was the one and only Ed. I let a shriek escape before slamming my hand on to my mouth. No, Amarilis, I must seem professional!
"Hey Haz! So glad you could make it!" Ed chirped, giving Harry a firm handshake. He turned to me and grinned, eying Harry for a second before offering me his hand.
"And you are?"
Holy crap, holy crap, holy crap. I shakily took it and he shook it, my whole hand growing limp. He chuckled and I nervously smiled, trying to control my breathing.
"This is Amarilis. She got really hurt, do you think you could go get someone?" Harry asked, helping me to a stool nearby. Ed nodded hastily and took off to find help.
"Thanks for helping me." I thanked quietly, gluing my eyes to the checkered floor.
"No problem, this makes everything easier." Harry chuckled, and my head snapped up, my eyes wide.
"Huh?"
"Kidding, kidding! I'm really glad I met you tonight. I don't know what it was, but something about you is just so captivating. I couldn't take my eyes off of you the whole night." Harry admitted, cheekily smiling.
"I noticed." I added, giggling afterwards. That's when I noticed Harry's lips coming closer and closer until his lips were pressed against mine. His lips were soft yet firm, and I felt fireworks explode in my mind.
"Ahem." Someone cleared their throat and Harry and I broke away quickly, accidently bonking our heads against each others. I blushed and heard Harry laugh until someone came over, examining my ankle.
"It's definitely sprained." A man said, but the whole time I couldn't take my eyes off of Harry's. Turned out this was probably the best day of my life, all thanks to a certain curly haired guy.
