Josh POV

Colleen is still pregnant weeks later. She is doing ok but it is always in the back of my mind to watch as I don't know how long this will last without her shots. She is at work right now as I write my album while Lily sleeps. I have my earphones on listening back to some music as I have my head buried in my notebook. I feel a hand grab my shoulder and I jump out of my skin. I spin around and see Colleen. I take off my earphones and grab her to my lap. "Holy shit babe you scared me" I say rubbing her back. "Sorry" she smiles hugging me. "Why are you home?" I ask. "Clinic appointment. Had to come home and shave my legs before I go" she laughs. I snuggle her laughing. "Why didn't you tell me about it? I want to come" I say. "Forgot I guess. Sorry" she says. I smile and stand up to go brush my teeth as she shaves her legs and throws some shorts on. "There that's better" she laughs putting lotion on them. We walk down the hall and grab a coffee each as we sit at the snack bar and talk until its time to go. A quiet peaceful house is very rare these days. We usually have Colleens people for her show always over or my sister and Adam or Kory. It is so nice to share a moment with her alone.

We drive to the clinic and Colleen gets an ultrasound and we hear the baby's heartbeat. "I am amazed that this pregnancy is still continuing" the doctor says. "Us too" Colleen says. "I am going to look at the bloodwork before you go" he says as he leaves us in the room. "I am so happy everything is going so well" I say as she sits on the edge of the exam table. The doctor walks in and looks at us. "What?" I ask as I read his face. "Colleen you need to terminate" he says. I feel sick. "Why?" She asks grabbing me. "It is attacking your heart instead of the baby" he says. "Are you tired?" He asks her listening to her chest with a stethoscope. She nods. "This is serious" he says. He looks at the paper work again and looks at us. "I guess we don't have a choice" I say sadly looking at Colleen. She nods holding her stomach. "I just wanted one more" she whispers as she cries. "I know babe" I say engulfing her in a hug. The doctor tells us he will see us in the morning for the abortion. Colleen sobs more hearing the word. I grab her and we quietly walk out of the office through all the waiting room full of happy, healthy pregnant women. They all stare at us as I quickly get her out of the public gawking. She is unrecognizable to me as I see her as she sits beside me in the car. She has hit rock bottom.
