Stolen moments.

That's how the relationship between Latizia Dantze and Armitage Hux could be best described.

A brushing of the hands here, a sweet, quick kiss there, knowing and loving smiles across the room everywhere.

The lucky part? No one ever caught them.

But not everyone was quite as happy as the pair.

PH-1819 had purged herself of everything she held dear and in a final fit of anger, taken her knife to her long hair, cutting it all off in one motion.

Not that anyone noticed, she was just another stormtrooper......

>>Four Years Later<<

"YOU HAVE GOT TO BE KIDDING ME!" Latizia bellowed, tearing off one of her shoes and throwing it across the room, causing Hux to jump.

"Holy- what is it?" He clapped a hand over his heart, having felt it skip a beat.

"We got turned down...AGAIN!"

"Are you serious?"

She shoved the datapad in his face.

"Yeah, but it says here that we're scheduled to be transferred to the Eternity in a week, just after a raid on one of the Yavins."

"Wait, isn't that where Ashanti's on leave?" Latizia scooted closer to the ginger, eyes sweeping over the datapad again.

"Yeah, she's on Six, I think. But look, we're going to Five," Hux draped an arm around her shoulder and Latizia leaned into his side. "You feeling alright, sweetheart?"

She shrugged, "Meh, I'm tired is all. I don't know how some of these kids can stand growing up here. That and they're thinking of cutting me from the Program."

"What?!"

"The commanders don't think I can handle the training. Personally? I think that they don't want me around the other troopers after what happened with Clerik."

"That was four years ago..." James set the data pad aside and pulled Latizia into his lap. "I don't care what they think of you. After we get back from Yavin-5 and we get settled in on the Eternity, things'll be different. I'll find a way to make sure it's just you and me..."

"Promise?" She whispered into his shirt.

"Promise. I don't really care about rules at this point."

Latizia wrapped her legs around his torso and looped her arms around his neck, burying her face in the crook of his neck. Hux ran his fingers through her hair, unweaving the braid that she'd held her long hair back in that morning.

"You really care about me?" She asked, voice a mere whisper on his neck.

"No," He held her at arm's length and her face fell. "I love you."

Latie's eyes widened slightly. "I-I-I-I-"

Hux sighed and before she could think, she felt his mouth on hers, lips warm and hungry. Latizia reacted on nothing but instinct, roughly kissing him back. When their lungs screamed for the precious oxygen, the pulled apart just enough to rest their foreheads together.

"Marry me."

Her heart skipped a beat and she forgot how to breath, he he just asked what she thought he did?! "W-what?"

"I said 'I love you, Marry Me'."

Something clicked in her brain and his words registered......but she had no words to respond with. Latie squealed softly and gripped the lapels of his jacket, crashing their lips together once more.

"I'll take that has a 'yes'?" Armitage questioned, holding her left hand in his own. Her breath hitched again as he slipped the black interlocking band on her finger...

"I love you too."
