~Hailey's POV~
Its been a week since I told Blackstar and Thunder about my childhood. At the moment me and Joely are walking through the DWMA hall way.
"A little more to the left. No the other left! No my left! There that's better."
I glanced at Joely.
"Was that Miss Marie?"
She shrugged. I peeked around the corner and sure enough it was Miss Marie. She was yelling at Stein and Spirit.
"Miss Marie," Joely said. "What are you doing?"
She turned around and smiled.
"Hi girls! I was just hanging up some flyers."
She handed me one.
"I hope to see you there!"
It was a flyer to a dance. It was under water themed and it was tonight!!!!!!!!
"Why are you hanging these up now?" I asked and waved the flyer a little.
"Because she forgot and is now making us do it."
Spirit grunted and winked at us. I shivered.
"We'll be there!" Joely practically screamed.
"You mean, YOU'LL be there. I'm not going."
She frowned at me.
"Yes you are," she said in some sort of demon voice.
"Okay I'll go, but I won't wear pink."
I held my hands up in surrender.
"Great! Let's go get the girls, tell the guys," She grabbed my hand and started dragging me down the halls. "And go dress shopping! No, I'll make the dresses!"
"How are you gonna make the dresses for me, you, Tsubaki, Maka, Patti, and Liz by tonight?"
She grinned evily.
"I have my ways."
After a while of her dragging me we ended up at Kids place. And by place I mean massive mansion!!! It was awesome and of course.... symmetrical. I started pounding on the door.
"Hey Patti! Liz! Kid! Open up!"
The door flew open. Liz's face was green and she had a towel on her head. She wore a monkey button up PJ shirt and monkey print pants.
"Run Joely! Its the Banana Peeler!!"
I fake gasped and pretended to faint.
"Haha very funny Hal. What can I do for you guys?"
"Get that stuff off your face! 'Cause we have a dance to attend! Tonight!"
Joely then proceeded to drag Liz down the street. Leaving me to fetch Patti.
"Patti! Liz left you behind!" I screamed as loud as possible.
She burst past me and down the street. No doubt following her sister and my meister. Then I realized I was tasked with getting Maka and Tsubaki. I chuckled lightly and started walking down the steps.
"Oh, Hey Hailey."
I stopped and turned around. Kid stood in the open door way........ without a shirt on!
"H-Hi Kid."
"What was with Patti running out like that?"
I shook my head.
"Oh, Joely decided to drag them to our place in order to get ready for the dance tonight."
Kid started freaking out.
"Its tonight! I thought it was tomorrow!"
He grabbed my arm and dragged me into his house.
"You have to help me look symmetrical! If I don't look perfect my precious Joely won't be impressed!"
He dragged me upstairs and into his room. I sat down on one of his arm chairs. He grabbed a suit from his closet and changed in his bathroom. He came out a good 30 minutes later.
"How do I look?"
I looked him up and down. He looked like kid, but with a bow tie.
"We have some work to do, but first give me your phone."
~Timeskip to after the gang was called~
(After I fixed up Kid)
"Perfect! Symmetrical and handsome! Joely will be most pleased."
Kid grinned at me and finally realized I wasn't dressed to go yet.
"Hurry and get yourself ready! I can give you a ride on Beeze-"
"NO! THEN MY HARD WORK WILL BE RUINED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll run."
With that I ran out the door and down the stairs. Into the living room and out the front door.
~Joely's POV~
I finished the final touches on Maka, Liz, Patti, and Tsubaki's dresses. I smiled at my work.
"You girls look smokin'!"
They laughed at my little joke. Then, the door suddenly burst open. A panting Hailey fell to her knees.
"I'm-ALIVE!" She gasped.
I rolled my eyes and heaved her to her feet.
"Dress. Now."
She tried to run, but I managed to close and lock the door to the sewing room. She huffed and crossed her arms.
"Here it is!"
She looked at it and her jaw dropped. It was a knee length dress. The bottom part is an icy blue, the top is a semi see through gem covered one long sleeve. She reached out and tenderly touched it.
"You made this," She turned to me. "For me?"
"Yep, now change!"
I turned around and she changed.
"Okay."
I whipped around and gasped. She looked stunning. The dress perfectly fit her curves and showed off her long legs. All that's left now is her make up.
"Hold still."
I gently applied some white eye shadow with hints of blue, some sparkly mascara, and light pink lip gloss. She wore white flats on her feet.
"Perfect!"
She laughed and grinned evily at me.
"What?"
I took a step back and grabbed my dress.
"Change!"
She laughed and turned around. I changed and gave her the okay. She launched into artist mode and sculpted my face. (Put my make up on)
"Done!"
I stared into the mirror. My dress is comes up to the middle of my thigh. The bottom is a nice light pink the gently fades into a smoky black. Its a sweet heart sleeveless cut. Just under my breast is a silver wreath. Hailey gave me a smoky eye look and some light blush. Completed with hot pink lip stick.
"You look amazing, Joely. Kid will be most pleased."
I beamed at her. We walked out to the girls. They all squealed and started complimenting us.
"You guys look much better than me." Hailey wrung her hands behind her back and smiled.
"Us? You guys look WAY better!"
Liz screamed and hugged me.
"I'm an F-ing giraffe!"
Patti grinned and jumped up and down.
"A Sea giraffe!"
Hailey laughed. Tsubaki was strangely quiet. She stared at Hailey with something like...........Jealously?
"Well, let's get going!"
With that we walked out the door, only to see the guys. All in tuxes. My jaw dropped when I noticed Kid. He was flawless. The others, meh.
"Wow, Joely. You look incredible." Kid looked me up and down.
"You look hot. I mean- handsome. I mean-"
"Would you to just kiss already!" Hailey and Blackstar yelled.
"Jinx!" They said in unison.
I stared at Kid. His face red and flustered. Mine was probably redder.
"Maka, you clean up nice." Soul said and looked Maka up and down.
I dead panned at the same time Hailey slapped her forehead. Maka just maka-chopped him. We laughed.
"Can we get going now?" Blackstar groaned.
"Yeah!" Patti yelled.
We walked towards the academy. I glanced at Hailey, then at the figure in the shadows. I nodded at it.
'She has no idea what I have in store for her.'
