Kano's POV~
"I'm not going easy today Kuroha! Get your ass up here!" I really wasn't joking and I didn't have all day— or night.
No reply.
"We have no choice now."
We all split up and searched the school in all the corners. I did know he was in the science lab but I didn't know where the lab was underground. This school was pretty big.
I had just taken a step towards the corridor when I heard an ear piercing scream; Momo.
I twisted on my heel and ran towards the scream.
When I reached where Momo had been lying in pain, I looked to my left. Kuroha bolted from behind me and down into the hallway. "KUROHA! YOU'LL PAY FOR THIS!" I was ready to chase him but someone held me back. It was Kido.
She knelt down to Momo to observe where he had shot her. The bullet was stuck in Momo's lower thigh and it was deep. She was writhing in pain and she was crying when Shintaro and the others arrived.
"Let's go back. We have to, please Kano." Mary pleaded.

"You all go back. I'm going after Kuroha. Mary, Kido, Konoha, and Shintaro, come with me." I replied.

"No" Momo was straining far too hard.

I did a double take, "What?"

"I'm coming whether you all think I'm dying or whatever. Because I'm not. We came on a mission, I am part of the Mekakushi Dan and I intend to stay through this mission till the very end." Momo said, then she grinned with her reckless self.
A corner of my mouth turned upwards and I smirked.
"Okay then it's settled, let's go."
