Sydneys pov
I thought it was becoming clear that my feelings were stronger for Nathan, but being around Jay makes me feel so confused.
I was sat on the first sofa on the end with Jay next to me, Max next to him and my brother and annie squished on the end, on the second sofa sat Tom,Kelsey,Nareesha Siva and then Nathan, Ashley sat on a small chair near the tv as Dan sat on the floor helping Alexis do her puzzle. I could see Nathan peering at me across the room as i chat away to Jay and Max.
"Syd,Syd come help me" Alexis ran up to me her curly blonde curls bouncy up and down.
"You got Dan to help you" I say to her as she pulls on my hand.
"he is rubbish" She says causing me Jay and Max to laugh as Dan fake cries, I get up sitting on the floor in front of Ash as Dan gets up taking my seat.
"Lexi where does this bit go" I ask her as she looks at it intensely
"here" she says putting it down as me and Ashley clap her well done. After another half an hour of doing the puzzle she got tired and sat on my lap.
"I wish you could be my mummy" she whispers in my ear before she yawns and closes her eyes, it made me slightly sad that she didnt have a mum well one that cared for her, Jay comes over smiling at me.
"She loves you, more than she loves me"Jay jokes picking Alexis up really carefully as she snuggles her head into his chest.
"Is there anywhere I can put her to nap quietly?" Jay asks me.
"Yeah follow me" I say as Jay follows me out the room as I see Nathan looking at us cautiously and I saw jealously in his eyes and when he sees me staring back he sighs and turns to talk to Siva.
I show Jay the spare room, I stand at the doorway watching as Jay lays her down gently, pulling the duva over her tucking her in moving her hair out her eyes and giving her a soft kiss on the forehead, I smile at the cute moment he really is a good dad. Jay gets up and almost falls over as i try my hardest not to laugh and so does he. We both then leave the room as i smile and he looks at me giving me a confused look.
"What are you smiling about?" he asks stepping closer to me
"You, you are such a good dad" I say as he smiles at my words as he puts his arms around my waist, his breathing becomes slightly heavier and so does mine.
"well you are pretty great with her too syd, you will make a great mum" he whispears as he lays his chin on top of my head. I smile and as we slowly rock as if we was dancing to music.
"Your beautiful, inside and out" Jay says so quietly, im not sure if he wanted me to hear or not.
"So are you Jay" I say bit shakily, I shouldnt be doing this with feelings for Nathan  but it just felt so right. Jay looks down at me as he takes my hands and places them behind his neck and places one of his hands on my waist and the other on my cheek, He leans in and our lips are centimetres apart and i could feel his breath on mine,but he dosent move them as we both breath heavily, I couldnt take it anymore and I kissed him first he was slightly shocked but kissed me back, it started of slow with a few sparks but then it got more heated his hands slowly started making there way up my tshirt as his hands moved up and down my sides, as my hands slightly tugged at his hair, just then we heard someone cough and we break apart out of breath and bright red as Ashley stood there a smirk on his face.
"I wouldnt adverise the hall way as the best place to make out" Ash jokes making jay turn more red.
"I will be downstairs" Jay said awkwardly walking down the stairs.
"You are so lucky that was me and not Nathan" Ashley jokes pocking me as I hide my face in my hands.
"You saw nothing" I say as he starts walking to the bathroom.
"Alright little sis as long as you use protection" He jokes as I throw a pen at his head and he rubs the back of his head and laughs.
As I walk back into the living room I see everyone had began eating as I grabbed a plate and sat on the floor infront of Jay and Dan.
I kept seeing Nathan staring at me as the door knocked and Annie got up to answer it, I then heard the overly high pitched voice and smelt the overly strong perfume.
"Hey guys Merry Christmas"  Shelby said walking into the room as everyone but Luke looks shocked to see her, I sent daggers to Luke why did he invite her. She goes and gives Luke a hug then hugs Nathan sitting on his lap. I feel Jay playing with my hair trying to calm me down.
"Dont let her win show her you dont care" Jay whispears and Dan pats me on the back and quietly says to me
"She looks like a demon barbie, why on earth Nathan left you for her eww" Dan jokes trying to me laugh as Jay laughs as well.
"Sydney you still on the drugs, you must be I mean look at you, no wonder dad left you" Shelby laughs and my fists clench up, as Nathan looks extremely awkward.
"She is doing great actually so back off or get out" Ashley says walking back in the room with Alexis on his back as he puts her down and she runs to Jay.
"Daddy" She giggles jumping into Jays arms showing him a kids book she had found.
"That was mine when i was as little as you" I tell her as jay starts to read the story as my phone vibrates.
There is a gift at the door for you merry christmas Lx
Sick rises to my stomach, she knows where I live, what gift?. I get up going to the door and opening it.
