After managing to get to sleep at around 3am it's fair to say I was tired when the alarm started ringing at 7.16 for some reason I always had this thing where it had to be one minute past when it's meant to, like it'll make some sort of huge difference having that extra minute of sleep.
I put some music on the TV in the hotel room just to make it less lonely, boiled the kettle and went for a shower. Once I had got ready we all met at the van and were off to start the day again.
"God girl, you look rough..have company in that room of yours last night?" Matt asked.
"Nah, she'd be lucky they were all in mine mate" good ole Rob ever the womaniser.
"Just shut the fuck up, both of you" I was not in the mood for it today, was far too tired for this.
The rest of the journey was quiet which I was greatful for. We arrived at Jessie's for 8.30
"Heya Jess" Matt and Rob said in unison, Rob carried on into her house. Rude. Whereas Matt lingered, which I wish he hadn't;
"You wanna be careful with her today she's assy as shit so don't be suprised if she snap's your head off". My problem was with those two, not Jess. Well she was the reason I had such little sleep lastnight but that doesn't matter.
"Arww i'm sure she'll be fine ay babe?" she walks over to me hugging me tightly. It felt electric, like a current had just started pulsing through me, all because of Jess. Suddenly my mood lifted and i found myself smiling relaxing into her touch, but to my disappointment she soon let go, with her hands rested on my shoulders looking into my eyes, I was mesmorised."Now that's what I like to see, a smile on that gorgeous face of yours, are you okay now?" she sounded so sincere, like I was someone who she had known forever, and wasn't just some random girl fitting windows who she met yesterday.
"Yeah I'm fine, thanks JJ" I don't know where it came from or why i called her that it just came out, still learning how to master the whole 'think before you speak' thing.
"JJ, noone's ever called me that, it's cute" she smiles, a full on beaming smile like I swear it could light up half of London.
"Oh...well urm I better get to work.." forever socially awkward, well done me.
Somehow Matt had managed to cut his hand open on a piece of glass from Jess' old window, you'd think after 5 years experience he'd have learnt how to be careful but clearly not.
It appears that Jess isn't too good with blood, the whole 'no please go to the hospital, I cant look, no don't come near me' reaction kind of gave it away.
"Well I better just take him to get that sorted out, unless you wanted to go?" before I even had a chance to respond Jess had done so for me;
"No no Rob it's fine you go, i'll keep an eye on her make sure she doesn't work too hard"
"Yeah i'm sure you will" he winks and they both leave.
Realising i'm now going to be alone with Jessie for atleast a few hours knowing London's medical centres I hope it doesn't get awkward.
"Right Jess I better just finish this window off, aren't you busy today?" she looks at me almost disappointed, I can't quite work out her expression."I'm free, like all the time now....anyway I said I'd keep an eye on you and you cant lift those windows by yourself, they're really heavy babe, you'll strain yourself" I smile at her cuteness she's so concerned about me. I walk over to lift the window, just to show her I can do it. I mean yeah it's heavy but it's nothing I can't handle. Jess watches intently, her eyes burning into every move I make. She says something but too quiet for me to work out so I place the window down and go closer to her.
"What was that JJ?" there it is again, the nickname.
She walks closer to me so she's standing merely inches from me, placing her hand on my stomach she almost whispers; "I said you must have some serious fucking muscles, I want to see them..."
