Chapter 3

Hey everyone sry for the late update. My friend said that if I don't update soon she would kill me.

The next morning, I woke up just as the sun came up. I walked over to the window and opened it. Smiling as the birds singing to one another. A knock came from the door. I wrapped a robe around me before answering it. A girl maybe around 12 or 13 stood there, her eyes the same blood red as Aro's has.

"I'm Jane, Mistress Scarlett." She said walking into the room and going to the closet. Picking out a dress out on the bed and began to undress me.

"Um, I can do it myself." I said being a little uncomfortable.

"Master Aro gave me orders to see you dressed and fed." She said not looking up at me.

"Jane how old are you?" Asking her as she tied my dress in the back.

"I'm 16, Mistress Scarlett." She said while sitting me down in a chair in front of a vainity. She took out a brush and began to work on my hair.

"Aro changed you didn't he?" I asked and I got a yes from her.

"Are you gifted Jane?"

"Yes, I cause extreme pain." Shrugging like it was like no big deal.

"Apparently I burn people." I said under my breath.

"I was there when Master Aro was explaining your gift to Master Caius and Master Marcus. I think we'll get along just fine." She said with a smile.

"Will Aro change me?" I asked. She she shook her head no.

"Aro has given you to Caius as his guard. Therefore he will change you." She said twisting my hair up and I wondered what she was doing to my hair.

"I won't be much useful dead." I muttered and she laughed a little.

"Caius would never hurt you, he cares for you Mistress." I scoffed and raised an eyebrow.

"Really, cause I got a feeling that he hates me." Jane shrugged.

"He has Athenodora, of course he wouldn't admit it. But Aro can read his mind though. There all done." She said backing away.

"Thank you Jane."

"When you've finished eating I'm to take you to Master Aro so call for me."

"I will, thank you." She smiled and nooded before walking out of the room.
