(3 months later)
Emily's pov
"Omg Emily how many times do I have to tell you that you cant do a squat like that?" Amber asks annoyed.
"Um about 100 times." I said while batting my lashes innocently.

After what seemed like hours I was dripping sweat, but of course Amber looked perfect.
"You look like a pig." She comments while staring at me in disgust.
I ignored her and went back to working on my abs.
Finally I was exhausted and hungry.
My stomach growled, and I couldn't take it anymore. So I asked her to let me go eat.
"No Emily after excursive you don't eat right away."
I glared at her and started complaining.
She threw her dirty towel at me as a sign to shut up.

We were finally home and after a well deserved shower I snuck in the kitchen to grab something to eat.
But of course, "Ah-ah Emily. Put the damn cookie down. You burned calories, if you eat that you would've worked out for no reason." She looked at me but continued.
"You already are fat you don't wanna add to it do you?" She asked raising an eyebrow.
I balled my hands into a fist. I groaned furiously. She just called me fat. I only agreed working out with her because my dad begged me to but I'm regretting it.
Before I could do any serious damage I stormed up stairs throwing the cookie on the counter as I do. Great I can't even eat in my house now. Woopee.

Jennifer's pov
(7 days after)
"Emily you look pale and you haven't been eating. Are you ok?" I ask Emily with concerning eyes.
"I'm fine. I'm just not hungry.." Emily said not looking me in the eyes because she knew if I saw her eyes I could tell if she's lying.
"Emily please don't starve yourself. It's not healthy. You seem so quite now and exhausted. I don't think-" She cuts me off.
She slams her hand on the table. "JENNIFER HOW MANY TIME DO I HAVE TO TELL YOU THAT IM FINE!!" Emily yells and storms out of the cafeteria with everybody looking awkwardly.
I saw Evan looking at her like he was going to go after her but before he could I grabbed his arm and pulled him into the hallway dragging in him in the opposite direction Emily was going.
"Evan you haven't spoken to her in a week and you want to be her hero all of a sudden today?" I asked looking into his eyes. I could tell he was in pain but from what?
"Look Jenn I've noticed her being less energetic and she's pale and she doesn't eat in the cafeteria anymore but you don't understand what she does to me. It scares me to see her like this." He says looking anywhere but my eyes.

We both turned around to see Emily on the floor.

Evan's pov
"It scares me to see her like this." I said exhausted.
I stayed up last last night thinking about her, and then I wanted to call her but I thought she'd be asleep.

Suddenly a loud sound caught my attention. I turned my head to see Emily on floor. Her face drained of color.
Before I could know what I was doing I got out of Jennifers grip and ran towards her.
Everyone was staring but I didn't care. I picked her up and ran to the nurse with her in my arms.
I got stares on my way there, but I couldn't think of anything except for getting emily to the nurses office. I'm such an idiot. I could've helped her this week but I was to much of a pussy to do anything. Now I'm staring at her so pale and cold. It broke my heart looking at her in this state.

Emily's pov
I stormed out when everything seemed dizzy and before I knew it my face made contact with the floor.
I woke up with my vision blurry. It took me a while to see I was in the nurses office. But how?
I turned to my right to see Evan asleep in a chair. I smiled knowing that he must've took me in here. Then I turned to my left and I saw the devil, Amber. She was standing there talking to the nurse looking so innocent.
"She hasn't been eating at home and I don't know why." She told the nurse, lying. She was the one who wouldn't let me eat at home.
The nurse nodded and let her walk towards me.
Since the nurse was still here she tried to act nice.
"Hey step-sister. It's Amber. I feel so bad about this. You wouldn't wanna eat at home and it got me worried. Come on let's go home and I'll make you something to eat." She said acting innocent but her eyes said I'll get you back later. The nurse looked touched that Amber seemed to care so much.
I was fighting the urge to roll my eyes.
"It's ok Amber I'll meet you home but I need to talk to Evan for a second." I said trying to make her leave. She saw Evan and her eyes lit up like he was her prey.
She lightly smirked and started to shake Evan awake. He looked so cute when he woke up. He smiled when he saw me but looked uncomfortable when he saw Amber.
"Hey is your name Evan?" Amber asked amused.
He nodded slowly.
She leaned in and whispered something to him. But said out loud..
"Thanks for carrying my sister here. She must have been heavy." She said twirling a strand of her flirtatiously.
I brought my knees to my chest feeling insecure one again. I sighed.
"Thanks Evan I owe you one." I gave him a smile and dragged my sister out of the nurses office and walked to the front.
Ambers fake smile disappeared and she had a smirk on her face.
"Your friend is cute." That's all she said and left me at the front of the school leaving me here to walk home.
I started walking when I heard a honk. I turned to see Evan, of course.
"Need a ride, princess?" He said smirking.
"As much as I loved to," hint sarcasm "I'll pass pretty boy." I said picking up my pace.
"Come on I feel bad just letting you walk home." Evan said with sincere eyes. I didn't say anything so he continued, "What happened to your sister?"
I sighed. "She was lying about taking care of me and stuff. She's the one who didn't let me eat at home and was the one that made me workout. Oh and she's not my sister she's my step-sister." I said kicking some rocks near me.
"Damn she's a bitch." Evan said laughing silently.
"Look if your just gonna laugh and make fun of me just leave. I have enough of that already." I said feeling tired of standing so I sat down on the concrete pulling my legs to my chest.
"Emily I'm sorry. I just thought- I'm sorry." He said getting out of his car sitting next to me.
"Wanna go to the rodeo?" He asked wiggling an eyebrow.
I chuckled slightly.
"I guess.." I said not very sure.
He held out a hand to help me up. But I knew whenever he touched my hand electricity ran through my body so I helped myself up. He looked hurt for a little but brushed it off and open the door for me.
"Such a gentleman." I said jokingly.
