I bounded down the stairs after my brother. "Jason you are so dead! The freaking coroner won't even know what the fuck you were, dead!" He continued to laugh his heart out. "Woah now!" Mitch said snatching me up and holding me back. "What did he do?" Kate laughed holding up her camera, obviously vlogging. Great. "He decided to pour ice cold water over the top of the shower while I was in it! He's lucky he got a head start while I was getting dressed!" Kate narrowed her eyes at Jason. "Not cool dude. But you can't kill him Melanie, sorry." "Are we ready to go now?" Quentin laughed from the couch. I cut my eyes at Jason. He smiled and nodded as did I. He headed out and into town.

I could see the hurt in Chloe's eyes. "Adam enough." I almost snarled at him. The two of them were in an argument by a store. Adam ignored me and continued. All I could get out of the fight was a few words since the rest of us fell back and let them talk which escalated to a full on verbal altercation. "No!.... Chloe stop this!... I can't help that!" Chloe bit her lip and hissed something back. Next thing I knew Adam ran off down the sidewalk and up the hill."
Chloe's POV:
"Well you know what I can't help that she left Adam. It obviously wasn't meant to be." I hissed back to my big brother. (Sky is 20 or close I think and Chloe is around the same age as Ty, Melly and Jason which is 17/18) He stared at me and I instantly regretted the route I had taken. His eyes were full of hate and hurt. He took off up the hill and I followed a few moments after not taking a single glance back to the others. I did hear footsteps coming after me and Dakota's voice traveling from that direction as well. Adam got to the top of the hill and turned down a trail. A few wood planks could be seen in the dirt every few feet and I knew exactly where we were. Melanie and Jason had been my friends since we were younger and Jason had of course become close to Adam. Our families would come together here and stay at the house we bought here. The one we were staying in with everybody. I had forgotten the little trail dad and Mr. Jeff had made up to the tree/club house us kids had made. Adam must be heading there. I heard the crack of thunder and the rain poured down on me. I still continued to follow the path up the mountain and through the trees nearing the small bridge that went over the ravine. Adam was up ahead an I saw him for a spilt second just before my foot came from under me and off the edge of the boards of the bridge. I screamed as water consumed me. I surfaced and yelled Adam'a name.
Adam's POV:
I ran away from Chloe after her statement. I couldn't cry in front of her or the others and I couldn't look at her either. I went up the hill and to the trail that led to our old club house. I heard Chloe's foot steps behind me and another pair, probably Melanie's but I didn't care. I went across the bridge and looked back. No sign of Chlo. I pushed back my longing to turn around and kept climbing my way up the mountain. I heard a shriek and then my name being called. Damnit Chloe that isn't always gonna work for me to come back! I stopped anyway knowing that shed stop in a second and know I wasn't coming back but it continued. As I waited I realized that rain was falling on and around me. No, she couldn't of have fallen. Screams of my name made there way through the trees. Shut she did. I ran back down the pathway and onto the bridge; Chloe's voice below me. I looked down and saw my baby sisters brown hair flowing behind her in the water. I took a deep breathe and jumped off the edge of the bridge. I surfaced and swam over to Chloe taking her in my arms and to the bank. A second pair of hands lifted her arms and I saw Dakota's fear stricken face. He reached for her but Chloe shook her head and crawled in my lap. She latched her arms around my neck and cried into my chest. I rubbed her back and pulled her close. She pulled away and looked up at me. "Don't do that ever again." She said. "I promise. I'm sorry." I kissed the top of her head then had a hand collide with the back of mine. I winced and saw Melanie's face full of anger. "Adam you fucking idiot!" Chloe giggled slightly, "Melly's right. But your my lovable idiot." She slid off my lap and stood. "Now let's go visit some place special." She smiled at Melanie and Jason as puzzled looks filled the water dropped faces of our friends. Chloe and Melanie locked hands and I saw the heart puzzle piece tattoos on their thumbs meet. We made our way to the wooden steps to the club house and Jason tried to turn the knob. "It's locked." He frowned. Mel pushed him out of the way and slipped the charm bracelet off and put the sliver key in the lock. "I thought that was just a charm that dad gave you." Jason said raising an eyebrow. "Nope it's this key, he got it silver plated and put it on a loop. He gave it to me on the birthday before he passed." She said a little sad and pushed open the door. "I hate to bring this up. But you guys aren't that old and neither is your mom, from what I can tell." Rachel said taking Taylor's hand. Jason answered her before Mel could. "He had cancer; He'd been sick for a little while. He passed a few years ago a little after I started my channel." "He have me the bracelet a couple years before the key and said to put charms to remember people, places, and events or special things like that. With the key is a handcuff one since he was a police officer. Each of you here has a charm. Even a couple that aren't here." She glanced at me, Dawn. "Really?" Kate piped up. "Yep. I'll show you guys when we get inside. I see more bad clouds." We walked inside. Wow the memories.
