Harley Quinn is my mother?

Back story

My name is Ruby. Just Ruby. I have no last name because I grew up in an Orphan home and I hate the last name they gave me, actually, I can't even remember what it was. My childhood was very tough. I remember getting beaten almost every other day. If you broke the rules you didn't get food for the rest of the day. Also I got in to a lot of fights. That prepared me for the life I live now.
At the age of 14 I got beaten up really bad for stealing food from the kitchen. That was the day I realized that I've had enough, so I ran away from the Home. I packed my bag, stole some food and money before leaving. On the same day I bought some cheap blue hair dye so that no one would recognize me. I still dye my hair 'cause I like it that way. Since that day I have been living on my own. Staying the night in abandoned buildings, stealing. I've never gotten caught before. Once I saw a small article in the newspaper, almost on the last page, about myself. They called me "Ghost sapphire". Funny. But no one really cared and I was never mentioned again.
Because I was abandoned by my own parents, who I, of course, don't remember, I don't trust anyone.
I think about my parents a lot. Part of me dreads to find out who they are, the other is afraid that when I do find out, I will be disappointed, and would wish I never knew who they were. However, I don't think I will ever find out because it is basically, impossible. Anything could have happened to them. They might have moved countries, or maybe they're already dead.

Right now I am 15 and I have no idea what awaits me in the future. I doubt I will ever get a proper family. Probably I will continue living on the streets of Gotham until I'm old enough to get a job, or maybe I will just continue stealing.
I don't steal expensive stuff. I could, but what's the point in them? I steal things I need: clothes, food, sometimes books or magazines to read. I never harm anyone. I own one weapon - a small knife, however I only use it for self defense, haven't used it yet.
