My nerves are a wreck.

I'm currently walking towards the schools clinic slash laboratory.Dodging other students as they prepare for their regular classes. Our level however only had to focus on one thing. The week went by considerably fast and now I find myself on evaluation day.

I hardly had any sleep as I read page after page of information regarding this evaluation. I have to say I think I might have obsessed over this. Can you blame me though? Having the possibility to becoming more than what you think you are is just so thrilling.

I mean if I do end up as having a potential for a power it could literally change my life. I might actually become somebody depending on how it turns out. A power might give me a good advantage for the future. Imagine if I got super speed, I could sleep longer before class and still be on time. Invisibility might be good to...on second thought maybe not, I mean I do a pretty good job of not being noticed as it is already.

"I doubt it, you stick out like a sore thumb for me." Peter greets as he placed his hand on my shoulder.

I nudge him with my elbow, laughing lightly. I don't say anything more as my mind keeps running down the procedure of the evaluation.

"You're obsessing over this Tony" He said, pausing slightly. "Did you really memorize the type of instruments they use too?" He added with a look of disbelief pointed at me.

"I'm nervous ok?" I admitted.

"So when you're nervous you study?" He asks, the look of disbelief never leaving his face. "You're sticking really well to the whole nerd vibe you've been portraying yourself in" He finished.

"I can't help it" I whisper harshly, rubbing my temples, yup I lacked sleep. "Fear stems from the unknown, the only logical way to combat the unknown is to make it known and to make things known you have to research about them and find out." I explained as we stopped in front of the clinic.

Peter stood in front of me, leaning a bit so we were at eye level, as he placed both his hands on my shoulders. "Breath in" He ordered as he took a deep breath, making me copy his actions. "Breath out"he finished slowly as we both exhaled.

"Whatever happens, happens the best you can do now is just experience the moment, don't hesitate, don't anticipate. Just let it happen. They won't do anything bad to you. Just think of it as a check up."Peter says as he grinned at the last part.

"Ok"I respond quietly as I felt myself relax just a bit more.

"Good,I'll see you later, class is about to start." He said as he made his way to his first period.

'Breath in, breath out' I tell myself as I entered the clinic.

Only a handful of my classmates were in the clinic at the moment. We were all scheduled differently so we wouldn't have to wait long for our turn. Some even needed to come earlier so everyone could be evaluated and finish on time.

After signing my name for attendance, they handed me a number and I took a seat in the corner. I was currently the fifth in the room. Ahead of me were two guys and two girls. One of them was Melissa Lockhart.

Melissa is one of those few people that play role playing games and it's not the video game kind. It's the pen and paper type. I'm not exactly sure how those go myself but I heard she's very immersed in it. She even went to the point of memorizing game based languages like elfish or dwarven, don't ask me how she did it.

Before I knew it my name had been called. A government nurse steps out and guides me to the first room.

Ok so let me give you a run through of what they will be doing. From what I researched the government sends in evaluators to the school to help with gathering data and evaluating a students potential for being a meta.
