Janet's POV
Nothing was going right and being a junior wasn't making it any easier. It was even more worse when i hear my alarm go off. As I was still laying there for a while I was debating whether to get out of bed or not until I inhaled the smell of bacon. At that moment i hopped right out my bed eager to get downstairs but before I did, I decided to get dressed first. I brushed my teeth and washed my face. I then threw on some sweats and a loose t-shirt with my converse. Could I look any more like a bum. To go along with my laziness and lack of waking up on time, I didn't apply and eyeliner or mascara. I grabbed my backpack, Iphone, and earphones and headed downstairs to the kitchen. I got happier as the smell of bacon got stronger. I started to smile at my weird self and then I saw that there was none left for me. Smile now gone. My mom look back at the sounds of my steps . "Oh! Hey honey." she said with her mouth full. "Where's my food ?" i asked with a blank look o my face. "Shouldn't have overslept, maybe you could have got some." my dad responded as he was putting his plate in the sink. "Wow, what great parents" I thought but accidentally said out loud. "Go to school." said my mom.
I started to walk to school. Out of nowhere my friend Erika pulled up to the sidewalk in her little car. Erika was in 10th grade. She was really funny. I guess that's how we became friends."Hey, looking for a good time tonight." she said jokingly. "Your stupid." i laughed. I got in the car and we headed to Starbucks for coffee and then straight to school. "Well somebody's lookin' bummy today." she said. I chuckled a little. I was not offended it was true. I did look terrible today especially compared to what she was wearing. she wore burgundy high waisted shorts, white crop top, and high top converse. Her outfit made sense because we do live it Riverside,CA. Its always hot out here.
Before i knew it we arrived at school and at the same time the bell was ringing. We both got out. I thanked her for the ride and headed to my zero period. Which is my silent reading class. I just sat there on my phone. The bell rang and i went to first period. I got there a little early so i just waited in my seat. A couple minutes later the bell rang indicating that anyone that came in after this was late. "Goodmorning!" said Mr. Shamn said. Uck! How could he be so happy in the morning, it disgusted me. He went babbling on for a few minutes then I heard the door open. I chuckled a bit because whoever it was, was going to be in troubleeeee. Then a boy walked in. He looked unfamiliar, then i heard the whispers and that when i knew that he was a new student. He walked to Mr. Shamn, looked over at me and we locked eyes for half a second, then he gave the teacher his schedule. What's your name?" said Mr. Shamn. "Daniel.....Lara." he said nervously looking at the class then back at Mr.Shamn. "Well Daniel, welcome to my history class", "Im Mr. Shamn. Mr. Shman pointed at the only empty seat, next to me and told him to take a seat. Wait? NEXT TO ME! "The luckiets seat in the class, next to Janet."
He slide into his seat and our eyes locked again but this time he smiled. Before I could smile back he turned his attention to Mr. Shamn. "Okay student get your history books out." That's the last thing I heard till I immediately started thinking about Daniel. We are already half way through the school year and I have not had a boyfriend or even a crush. I think that had suddenly changed. Ohh he was so cute."SNAP OUT OF IT JANET!" I told myself. I mean I haven't even met him.
Diiiiiiiiiiiiiing!! The bell. Dang. I grabbed my stuff and headed to the next class but then Mr.Shamn stopped me. He told me that he needed to speak to me after school I said okay and continued to leave then I felt tap on my shoulder and turned around. It was Daniel. Daniel Lara.

HEY GUYS! I was really scared about writing. I have no idea how this app works. So i don't know how to gain followers or anything the only thing i know how to do is write and publish lol. Anyways Im gonna learn how to do this and then im going to write another chapter because i have no life.
