Winny's P.O.V.

5 years later.....

5 years earlier everything went according to plan.

James, Teddy and Sam were all arrested for the reasons you all know they were. James finally confessed to murdering all those innocent men and he was finally given the punishment he deserved.

It has been years since Belle's death and Lily could never forget about that day that I told her about it. Belle was Lily's only sister and sibling. Belle was like a mother to her when her parents were always out of the house.

Also, Patch left without saying goodbye. According to the lost boys he didn't tell them anything.

He didn't tell me anything.

Ever since Patch left, Lily had taken care of Neverland. She was now the one in charge and she ran things perfectly, since she was the only one left to take charge.

Each of the Lost boys have fortunately gotten their dream jobs and they're all thankfully happy with each other.

We still do meet each other once in a while though. We talk about our past and all the things we used to do before.

I had just finished college and I actually got a job as a writer. I loved to read books and well, I could finally say that I got my dream job. I didn't want anyone to know the real me so I had a pen name.

BIRDY.

I know that it was the name Patch had given me five years ago, but it was the only thing I could think of, even though Patch and I broke up.

Well that's what I assumed.

It has been five years since Patch left me, well us without saying goodbye. Not even the Lost Boys knew where he was. They all had gotten different jobs and I am happy to say that we are all successful.

I moved on from Patch also, but something tells me that I'll always love him. I mean I'm still wearing his ring.

I wonder where he was now. Did he have a girlfriend? A wife? Kids?

I walk into my house and sigh. Finally home from work.

I bought this house myself actually. I moved out last year and I wasn't alone. I actually have company.

"Mama!" I hear and I smile at the sound.

Oh my little girl! She's turning four tomorrow and I can't believe she's gotten so big. She can walk on her own now.

"She's been good today. She looks more and more like you each day." My mom says as she walks out of my room.

My mom usually babysits her when I go to work. She doesn't mind, she loves her grandchild just as much as I do.

"That's good. Thanks for taking care of her." I say and give my mom a kiss on the cheek.

She smiles and nods, walking out the door.

"You are so beautiful. I love you so much, Jane. I'll never ever leave you, okay?" I tell her and she nods as I tickle her and she giggles.

Not like how he left you.

I ignore my conscience and continue to play with her. I thought that I had moved on from him, but I haven't.

The year he left was the year that I found out I was pregnant.

We weren't too careful when we were at his island and well, five years later here I am. I'll never regret having Jane and I guess that she's the greatest thing that Patch left me.

I named her Jane because I remembered what I had told Patch before. That's what we'd name our first daughter.

It was hard to stop for a while again and take care of her by myself, but hey I was successful now and that's all that matters.

My hard work paid off.

So yes, she was Patch's and I guess he didn't know that yet.

He'll probably never know.

While I carried her around the house, I heard the doorbell ring and walked to the door.

That's weird, I don't remember inviting anyone.

I walk to the door, with Jane in my arms and finally open the door to see who it is.

"Hey Winny." He says and I give him a smile.

"Hey Mike." I say and he sees Jane in my arms.

He brings his arms out infront of him and smiles at his niece.

"Hello Janie Wanie." He says and she giggles as he carries her in his arms.

I invite him in and I get Jane from him, carrying her to my chest.

"What brings you here?" I ask him and he sighs.

He finally looks up at me and gives me a sad smile.

"Umm Win-" He says as the door bells rings again.

I raise a finger up to stop him. I give Jane to him as they play in her room.

"Hold that thought." I say and walk to the door.

Who could that be?

I walk to the door and to my surprise, it's the least person I'd ever expect. What was this person doing here?

I swing the door open and see Nan.

"Hey umm, I've got major news!" She says and I give her a confused look.

Umm okay? Did I plan a party without me knowing? Nan and I barely talked because of her job, but I guess I was thrilled to see her.

I sigh and close the door, but as I do a foot steps in. What the?

I sigh, it was probably mom who left her purse. She always left her purse.

"Mom, your purse is-" I say, but am cutt off with the person at the door.

Patch

He stands there in the doorway, wearing professional fighting gear and carrying a training bag that I've never seen him wear before. He looks hot, and it looks like he's gained muscle.

Oh my God, he's even hotter than when I last remember him.

Snap out of it Winny! The man left you! What the hell was he doing here?! What took him so long?!

"I'm here to tell you I'm sorry." He says and I shake my head, tears are in my eyes.

No. He doesn't get to say that. He left me!

"Get out, Patch! I don't want your apology. You lost that privelage, the day you left us all without saying goodbye!" I say and he shakes his head.

He places his hands on my shoulder and holds me in place.

"No, you weren't safe around me! I had to leave. I was too dangerous." He tells me and I shake my head.

He left me because he thought that he was dangerous? That's it.

"You're pathetic! You left me for five fucking years because you thought you were too fucking dangerous?!" I ask him and he shakes his head.

"You don't get it, Birdy. I left so that you'd be safe. I left because you almost died that day because of me. If it weren't for that watch, you wouldn't be here right now. James probably would've shot you." He says and I shake my head.
