"Blue!" Winnie said holding onto my shirt while I held her in my arms.
I smiled and nodded, settling down onto the couch in the living room, "Yes! It is blue! What color is Daddy's shirt?" I asked her, looking over at Jimmy as he walked down the stairs with Franny in his arms.
"White!" she yelled and then giggled in my arms.
"That's right! Good job, Winnie!" I told her, holding my hand out for a high five, which she gladly gave me, slapping my hand with hers as hard as she could.
"I play?" she asked me, and then began wiggling out of my grasp.
I laughed and set her down on the floor, "Be nice with Franny, Winnie," I reminded her when she walked to her Jimmy had put her sister down.
Winnie didn't pay me any attention as she sat in front of Franny and began talking to her, but Franny crawled away and began playing with her own toys. Not that it seemed to bother Winnie.
"That was one of the worst ones, ever," Jimmy said collapsing down next to me on the couch.
I wrinkled my nose as I watched the girls on the floor, "I told you I would have taken that one."
"I was trying to be a gentleman," he said with a faux British accent.
I smirked and shook my head, "Well I appreciate that," I said sarcastically.
He laughed and pushed me gently, "Well next time she explodes I'll let you take care of it."
"Your kindness knows no bounds, Jimmy," I said glancing over at him.
He laughed and wrapped an arm around me. It was the Friday night after the Emmy awards. Jimmy and I decided to go ahead with an interview with Diane Sawyer and get everything out in the open. A press release had gone out on the Tuesday just like Allie said that it would, and The next morning is when they would be setting up and we would film throughout the day.
Jimmy and I had the girls all week, so I went to Studio 6B with Jimmy every day and took care of them. I loved bonding with them. I loved spending the time together and watching them interact with each other and everyone around them. Nancy was going to be coming before people arrived for the interview to take the girls back.
Nancy had been more than generous with letting Jimmy have the girls to give me the opportunity to spend time around them and for them to get used to me. Nancy and I had become close too since the first meeting. She was honestly such a kind woman, and she was nothing but nice to me.
Jimmy sighed as he watched his daughters together, "Do you want that?" he asked me.
I looked up at him, "Want what?" I asked curiously.
He smiled at me and nodded his head towards the girls, "That. Kids."
My face instantly felt hot, but I smiled at him, "Yeah...I mean...yeah. I really do," I said looking down at my hands, "But," I started, looking back up at him, "I don't' mean that like, I want it right now, if you don't. I know you have the girls. I didn't know if you wanted anymore," I said quickly, letting the words literally fall out of my mouth.
Jimmy was laughing and smiling at me, "Will you calm down, you goof?" he said putting his hand on my knee, "I would love to have a baby with you," he told me quietly.
I smiled slightly and looked at him, searching his face. Searching his eyes for any suggestion that he wasn't telling me the truth, "Really?"
His leaned his head down and rested his forehead against mine, "Really," he confirmed, "I want to marry you one day and have a family. I'd have another twenty babies with you," he whispered.
I closed my eyes and smiled, "I'd like that," I told him, opening my eyes and looking at him.
He breathed out a laugh, "Okay."
"Daddy! Bathroom!" Winnie said from the floor causing Jimmy and I to look away from each other, Jimmy chuckled and got off the couch.
"Alright, Win! Let's go!" he said picking her up swiftly and carrying her to the bathroom.
I smiled and watched Franny play on the ground. Jimmy and I hadn't talked about having a baby together yet. Hell, the only time we had talked about marriage was when Demi told us to get married just before the Emmy's. But I knew I wanted that. Jimmy was sent to me, and that was the only place I wanted to be. There was no other person I would fit with the way I do with Jimmy.
I had always been cautious about having sex when it was possible I could get pregnant, because I wasn't sure about Jimmy's feelings about it. On top of that I was on birth control as well, just to be extra safe.
Watching Jimmy with his girls, and even with Dominic only made me more concrete on the thought of having a baby with Jimmy. There was no one else I would want to have a baby with.
"And we're back," Jimmy said coming back into the room with Winnie, who was smiling from ear to ear.
"Back!" Winnie yelled once Jimmy put her on the floor.
I laughed, "Welcome back!" I told her.
"I went to bathroom!" she told me proudly.
I smiled as Jimmy sat down next to me, "Good job, Winnie!" I said.
"Hey," Jimmy said when he sat back down, drawing my attention back to him, "I hope that wasn't putting you on the spot or anything. It's only been about five months; I don't want to freak you out."
I laughed and shook my head, "Jimmy, when are you going to understand that I love you, and I want to be with you, and that nothing is going to stop that. Of course I want to marry you and have babies with you."
I saw his eyes water a bit as he smiled at me, "I love you."
I nudged him with my shoulder, "I love you too."A/N - just a short quick chapter for you guys, hope that's alright!
