Niklaus Mikaelson, is a man with 25 years old, or at least is what seems to be, because in fact he is the Original Hybrid (half vampire/half werewolf) and has more then a thousand years old.
He is the King of New Orleans for more then 100 years and he did a great job in making everyone fear of him and he had a way to know what the witches were doing, in order to keep up when they were trying to hurt him or something like that, he make the werewolves living in the Bayou because Vampires and Werewolves are natural enemies.
Niklaus, he's a very handsome man and has always a woman after him, he has curled dirty-blond hair and dark blue eyes that contrast with his pearl-white skin.
Unlike Caroline, he prefers embrace the darkness... Klaus is extremely sinister, sadistic, psychopathic, ruthless, evil, vindictive and dangerous. He's highly powerful and is highly intimidating and threatening. Niklaus is extremely deranged, and the line between his evil and his madness is very blurry. All this is the result of Mikael abused him all his human life and then he had to be on the run afraid of what Mikael would do to him and after almost a thousand years, he and his siblings were able of killing him but until he accomplished that, he suffered lost and felt guilt and after so many years feeling lonely, he started to embrace the darkness and now he didn't saw a light in his life.
Niklaus was surprised at how the Queen of Mystic Falls wanted to make an agreement that included them getting married so they could be leaders of both New Orleans and Mystic Falls, in order of bringing piece to their cities. Klaus at first hated the idea that the person that came in the Queen's behalf told him because he liked the single life but once the witch who come from Mystic Falls told him that the Queen Caroline Forbes just wanted to marry him because of the safety of her people and she didn't intend in having any kind of relationship with him and he could continue to have is single life, just more secretive because they had to fake they were a true couple in some events outside New Orleans or Mystic Falls...
Niklaus didn't give an answer right away and told the witch that after a couple days he would say what would be the answer, because even that this Queen was being reasonable, he didn't knew her, he just knew what he heard about her but he didn't knew how she would handle living with his family or being in events or how she really was in person. After a few days, he got the answer, it was a yes because after reuniting every single information of this queen, he realized she wasn't going to be threat to him or anyone that was from his family, the only thing he left to know was how was her physically but he wasn't too worried with that because this would be just business. At least it was what Caroline and Niklaus thought, but the witches could see the future had more things reserved for them and that she would prevent the chaos and the darkness Klaus would bring.
