He came back out dressed while I sat on the couch. He had on a blue button up and blue jeans, I felt my cheeks burn and yelled "great! I hope she's there and hopefully not dead."
He grabbed a knife and we walked out the door.
"Why do you have that?"
"Do you think I wouldn't? There's no telling what could be out there." He replied sarcastically.
"True, one sec." I ran into his house and came out with an Axe I grabbed from the garage, "ready."
"Where the hell did you find that?" He asked with his eyes widening as he backed up.
"The garage" I replied with a smirk. "You took too long to get dressed and i browsed. Now let's go kick some ass and find out what happened" he smiled back as we trailed off to find Elisabeth.
We were walking past an elementary school when we heard a deep musky voice beside us.
"Get back." Josh whispered as he pushed me aside the wooden fence. He followed the unknown voice around the edge.
"I recognize that voice," I whispered. I walked out and hugged a very tall statue. The person turned around and hugged me, then realizing the Axe.
"Who is- why do you have that?!" He screamed
"Oh, its Caden," Josh said as he walked out from the fence, "Do you know what's going on?"
"No, I walked into the football field and there was an erie feeling so I left and decided to come home. Then I realized that the town was nearly empty, I was walking home then got hugged with an Axe."
"I felt the Erie feeling but didn't care much for it, only when Abigail came to my house and started crying," he pointed to me and smirked "but its okay, she funny to watch, being scared and stuff."
"Shut up," I crinkled my nose at him and walked down the sidewalk "We found one friend, now let's hope we can find another. She's to innocent to be stuck somewhere." I joked around at first, not knowing what was about to come. The boys followed as I lead the way to her house. That was until we turned a corner and I witnessed the horrific sight. I saw most of the street lined with fire, multiple houses were burned down. My eyes widened as I ran down the street.
