When we got back to my house, I found out walking was really hard. I did bump into every wall, until Thalia insisted on helping me get to my room. She helped me into pjs, and grabbed a pair for herself. "So, what do you want to talk about Alex?" Thalia asked. "Um, how about we find ways for me to move around easier. Maybe without that stupid pole that does nothing for me." "Alright," she said, "let's start by looking on the internet." So, for hours, Thalia and I tried to find articles to help me with my blindness. Thalia would patiently read every word to me, and I would listen intently. "Oh my gosh, I think I found something!" Thalia said in a loud, joyful voice. "§hit dude, you scared the crap out of me." "Sorry Alex, but this is way more important. I think I found the perfect thing for you." She said in a mysterious but bubbly tone. "Tell me already, I want to know." I said. I was really excited to find out what she found. "Let me grab your parents really quick so we can all talk over this." "Um Thalia, what time is it? They might be asleep." "It's 1:00 am, but I'm sure your parents won't mind."
Before I could stop her, I heard my crazy friend open my door and run down the hall toward my parent's room. As I waited for her to come back, I thought long and hard about what she found, and I decided I just couldn't wait to find out.
