Odd One Out

Introducing...

I woke up in a darkened room with my things all unpacked, I looked around and see Hikaru on the other side of the room on his bed, he was still sleep, his phone that he was listening too was on the desk beside his bed, I also had a desk at the bottom of my bed too. His phone was buzzing so I decided to look at it.

As I got up to see who had text him, I kept hearing pinging, there was even more texts coming through, I picked the phone up and unlocked it. I was shocked to see many anonymous contacts each with just lists of insults and abusive comments towards Hikaru, the anger i felt made my chest tighten with rage, i clench my fists trying not to make a sound. 

I look toward Hikaru, who was beginning to wake. I put the phone down after deleting all the mean contacts and walk over to my bed and get my phone out of my pocket. I unlocked it and went to messages, I clicked on a contact that i had never added, it read 'dude you never said you got adopted' as I read it another text came through. 'oh so your awake then.' i read. I quickly typed back, 'sorry if i sound rude, but your contact doesn't have a name and I'm not sure who you are. And how do you know that i just woke up?' i waited for a reply. 

'dude, don't you recognise the the number? I'm hurt Haru, I'm hurt... joking! It's me Tyler from school,' I read, I face palmed in my head, I forgot that he got a new phone and a new number. 'but how did you know i just woke up?' i replied. 'Look out the window'.

i turned my head and looked out the window, when I did I saw a fifteen year old boy in a blue jacket and grey baggy jeans with orangey brown hair which slightly blowing in the wind, crouched on the buildings roof next door, I widen my eyes and move over to the window and open it. "Ty! how did you get up there!? get down from there you'l get in trouble!" i said with a slightly loudened voice, he sighed and rolled his eyes, then stood up casually put is hands in his pockets and walked of the edge of the building. "TYLER!" I shout. 

"keep your voice down!" I look down to see a perfectly unharmed Tyler standing there looking up at me with a smug look on his face. "come down and let me in then." he said then started walking around to the front of the house. 

I stood there for a minuet then quietly walked out of our room and down the stairs toward the door, i unlocked the door then opened it to see Tyler just standing there. "how did you do that? are you okay?" I ask concerned, I look him over from a distance and not even a scratch.

"yea I'm fine. It was like walking of a pavement for me. but shhh!" he put his finger up to his mouth to try and quieten me. " were trying not to wake people, you know." With that he walked past me into the house, and ran up the stairs quiet as a mouse. I follow trying not to make too much sound and follow Ty into Hikaru's room, and close the door.
