I had slept very little that night and when I awoke the next morning to see Gandalf saddling up a horse.

''What are you dpoing'' I asked.

He turned and looked at me and smiled.

''Why Alena you must travel to Rivendale, I am unable to accompany you'' he said. I stood up off the ground and gathered my things.

''And why arent you accompaning me?''I asked. I had my back turned to him as I rolled up my cloak.

''I have to visit a friend'' he answered honestly.

''mm'' I said not sure how to reply at the vague answer. I turned back to him ad put my stuff on the horse. I fixed my sowrd and kicked out teh remaining fire which wasnt much.

''Alena, I must ask of you one more thing'' said Gandalf. I turned to him and nodded.

''You must go to Rivendale at top speed'' he told me. I raised an eyebrow.

''Any reason'' I asked. He smiled at me and helped me on my horse

I took the reins in my hand.

''The world is changing, for worse, teh ring wants to be found'' was what he said before thr horse ran off to Rivendale!

Lord Elrond awaited the Princess at the gates of Rivendale. If she was wounded he had people standing beside him that would help!

In his thoughts he thought that she shouldnt have run away but he understood why she did!

Arwen came up to her father.

''Why do you wait anxouisly'' she asked.

Elrond didnt look at her.

''I am afraid of what I might find''

Arwen sighed.

''It has been months since I have seen Alena, but I am sure that she will be fine'' she said.

''Indeed it has been months since anyone saw her even her own parents''

''Do not think of it as a sad thing, she went to see what she wanted and be that too'' said Arwen.

Elrond looked into the distance and he could see a rider coming his way.

''Do you think she will ever be happy'' asked Arwen.

''We shall see'' replied Elrond.

Alena's P.O.V

My horse was getting tired now so I brought her in a bit of a walk. I could see Lord Elrond in the distance with Arwen beside him.

I smiled slightly.

I looked down at the ground as we came up at a bridge.

''Alena'' cried Arwen as we came to a stop. I hopped off my horse and walked towards her. She gave me the biggest hig ever and I returned it!

''Its so good to see you'' she said. I smield and nodded.

Elrond came up to me.

''Your not hurt'' he asked. me

''No, not this time'' I replied. Elrond nodded and I noticed that some servants walked away. I smield and we started to walk inside.

''I must notify your parents that you have arrived'' said Elrond. I didnt look at him for that answer.

''Thats fine''

''So how have you been'' asked Arwen clearly uncompfterble by this talk.

''Fine now, and yourselves'' I asked.

Elrond nodded.

‘’There have been better times’’ he sighed. I nodded in agreement!

‘’I will go and check on the young hobbit, you two I am sure have much to talk about’’ said Arwen. I didn’t know who this young hobbit was?

‘’That would be great Arwen’’ said Elrond. She bowed to both of us and then she left.

‘’So would you like some tea’’ asked Elrond as we waled dwon a path towards a place where you could sit.

‘’No, thanks’’ he nodded and then we both sat down on couches.

‘’What has Gandalf told you’’ asked Elrond. I sighed but decided I would tell him and I did all that I knew that Gandalf has told me.

‘’Yes, the young hobbit had just arrived only moments ago, Arwen found him with Aragorn and three other hobbits, Stabbed by a dark blade he is lucky to be alive’’ said Elrond.

‘’This hobbit seems to be full of surprises’’ I said. Elrond nodded.

‘’Indeed, you do know about the council’’ he asked. I nodded.

‘’Yes, I know of that’’

He looked at me and then he stood up.

‘’And Alena if you are asked to go on a quest what will be your answer’’ he asked. That I thought was random.

‘’Depends’’ I answered back with. He looked at me again wth searching eyes. This was all very random but Elrond I am sure of has his reasons.

‘’The council meeting will be in two days, many are travilling to attend this meeting, you will rest, train or do whatever you want but leave rivendale until this meeting is over’’ he said. I sighed.

‘’You make me feel like a prisoner’’ I said. He smiled.

‘’Knowing your past you just might need a bit of security’’ was she referring to when I ran away.

‘’Very well, I will do what you wish, but understand it is not to my liking!’’
