Chapter Four

Walking down the dark alley behind McDonald’s, a cool breeze passes through. I shiver and swear. Where the hell is this boy? We agreed to meet here.
It isn’t that dark considering summer was around the corner and like I would worry about something happening to me in an alley. That’s why I got those sharp babies in my mouth. Hells yeah!
A hand grabs my shoulder and I immediately turn around, fangs out. The person jumps back with a shaky laugh. “Uh, hey, Juicypop. You don’t need to use those, uh, teeth. Please, don’t hurt me.”
I punch Aaron in the arm. “Don’t sneak up on me like that. You know how dangerous that is!”
Aaron slung his head down. “I know, I know. I’m sorry I’m late. It doesn’t take a few minutes to look this good.” He gestured to himself.
I roll my eyes. “Whatever helps you sleep at night. C’mon, let’s go.” He lives a few blocks away from Trey Daniels’ house, so we agreed to meet up next to McDonald’s and go together. It makes no sense and it’s totally random, but does it really matter?
We begin to walk and Aaron pumps his fist in the arm. “I hope I get some sexy guy to screw!” Yes, Aaron is gay. Who wouldn’t want a gay boy best friend? They were the best! But on the down side, Aaron is hot. When I say hot, I mean disappointing, drool-worthy hot. He has the tousled blond hair, the dreamy smile and eyes, and the muscular body, ohhh the body! I don’t have a crush on him or anything; I’m just stating the facts. I feel very sympathetic for the girls that find out he’s gay. Their faces are heart-breaking and priceless!
“Touché,” I nod my head.
“Little, innocent Jocelyn,” Aaron chuckles.
“Hey, I may be short, but we both know I’m not a virgin,” I say defensively.
“Yeah, I give you that,” he sighs. “How much times?”
I scoff. “You seriously want to know?”
He shrugs, “Sure, why not? We’re best friends. We should know these things. Here I will go first. I don’t know how much times, maybe too many, but I remember the last person I did it with. I had sex with Jamal last Saturday.”
My eyes bulge out. “Jamal?! As is Jamal Tanner? He’s gay?!”
Aaron smirks and lowers his voice. “Oh yes, he’s gay. Very gay. He does this thing with his hand---”
“I do NOT want to hear what the hell he does with his hand. WOW!” I shake my head. I am so going to talk to Jamal on Monday. “And as for me, not as much as you did or to get me pregnant.”
“You could have had a secret abortion.”
“You are too much! Shut up, Aaron!”
