The yelling began at 5 pm. My mother yelled at me. This time I don't remember why. She sent me upstairs to my room and told me I wasn't aloud out for 2 days. My mom is going crazy. If she doesn't let me out I'll have no food or water.
Before I went upstairs as my mother had told me to do, I grabbed three water bottles, and the box of goldfish. I figured that just in case she won't let me out I would make sure I don't get hungry. As I went up the stairs tears ran down my face. When I got to my room I pulled my fire escape ladder from the hallway to my room.
I unlocked the window and opened it all the way. The latter was light so I managed my way to get it out the window. Even if I were to fall I have a lower roof below my bedroom window. When I climbed out my window I cracked it just so it doesn't get to warm. The tears still coming down my face was making it hard to see. When my feet touched the ground I felt the relief settle in. I checked the window to make sure my mom couldn't see me and then walked towards the gate. The gate is to hard to open do I decide to climb it. I put one foot on the piece of wood that sticks out and swung my legs over. At this point I was sitting on top of the gate. I hopped down, the landing kind of hurt my feet but I landed safely. I walked to the park and sat on the swings tears still on my face. I sat and stared off into space just to think.
It was quiet at the park and nobody seemed to be around. While sitting on the swings I felt a tap on my shoulder from behind me. I jumped and heard a voice say, "Are you ok."
I turned around to see a boy with bright blue eyes and brown hair who looked about my age. "Hello?" He said. "Oh sorry, um I'm fine." I said. He seemed to know that I was lying, but he said nothing about it. Instead, he sat in the swing next to me and said "my name is Jacob."
I replied saying "my names Autumn." "That's my favorite season." He replied. The tears had slowed and I smiled. "Why are you crying?" He asked. I explained everything that happened even though I didn't want to and I told him that I snuck out. He told me he was sorry many times even though none of this had anything to do with him. When it was 7 I told him I had to go home so my mom doesn't find out I had left. I just barely took 1 step before I heard him say "Wait! Autumn! I had fun talking to you today so I was wondering if you want to meet up with me tomorrow?" "Sure. How about 3 O-clock?" I said. "Ok, see you then." he said.
