Spin, spin, twirling
On a teacup ride
All alone
No emotion shown
I only know vacancy
On this teacup ride
I hear chuckles and laughter
But on the morning after
The sound of a stranger’s happiness
Will still pierce my ears
Drowned in jealousy
Knowing what I’m supposed to be
Knowing what they all can feel
But I can’t, though I try
So in this teacup, I hide
On this carnival ride
