The bell rung conspicuously in West London University, the halls flooded with a tsunami of people, The boy sighs, and gets out of the seat, leaving the classroom with three boys following at his footsteps. He shoves a hand in his pocket, walking down the halls. His dark curls drape down, as his eyes attached to the floor. There are people whispering about him across the halls.
"Yeah, that's Harry, Zayn, Liam, and Niall apparently, they're the schools 'rebels', but I just think it's Harry, because look at him, no one wears that much dark clothing so-" He looks up from the floor and glares at the girl with his sparking green eyes, causing her to stop talking. The bell rung again.
After that, the halls were completely empty, letting him know that school was over for the day. It was raining, and Harry had to walk home.
"Fantastic." He thought as he headed out of the university and walked straight for home. Trudging through the rain, Harry hauled his bag over his shoulder, digging through it in an attempt to find his beanie. Finally, he dug out the dark blue fabric from the bottom of his bag, closing the bag and pulling the beanie over his curls, keeping them the least bit dry. He slung the strap back over his shoulder, resting the pack on his back.
This rain was just what he needed. Another cold weekend, sitting inside cuddled in a blanket, watching the telly or playing FIFA with the lads. This was the third week in a row that the rain how wiped out any plans the boys had to go out and spend time together, even though that could well be done indoors.
Not focusing on the path he was taking, he stumbles and falls over. Looking back intently, he saw a tattered box. As curious as the boy could be, he removed the box, seeing a small tabby cat sleeping in agony.
He pushed it with a finger slightly, moving the kitten quite harshly, and it awoke, looking up at the boy. Harry picks up the cat, as it looks as if it's "for free" since it is in a box, and continues to walk home, not taking his eyes off it, and the cat couldn't take his eyes off Harry.
"Hey, why were you out here all alone? Its raining, kitty." Harry looked at the kitten, as its blue eyes gazed into his. He smiled and chuckled slightly, knowing there was going to be no answer.
After couple of minutes of walking in the downpour, he finally made his way up to his flat and unlocked the door. He walked in, shrugging off his bag, coat, and shoes before going in to the living room and setting Louis down on the couch. He then left him to go get a towel from the closet. Louis looked around, admiring the inside of this mans house. The tabby absorbs the hot air inside the small apartment. Harry comes back, drying them off with the towels he retrieved from the closet.
"So, do you have a name?" He asks curiously, looking through his fur trying to find a collar. Abruptly, he lifts his paw, Causing Harry to look on it; the number 872962 was placed on his paw. "What is this?" Harry breathed to himself. He decided to go upstairs to get his laptop, to research the kitten.
A couple minutes later, the same three boys came into the door.
"Harry! Where were you? We were trying to walk home with you, and you were gone." The animal on the couch interrupted Zayn's voice, "Hey, Niall, you have a cat?" Zayn asks. "No."
"Liam?"
"Nope." He shrugs, looking at the kitten that is now focused on the three boys. Harry comes back downstairs, and sees the three boys. "Hey kitt-" "Yeah, about the cat, I found him in a box on the way home, he seems to have a number on his paw, so I'm trying to figure out if its some kind of alien cat, or something." He looked down at the kitten sitting next to it again, opening his laptop. Zayn snorted, "Alien cat? Dude, that's ridiculous."
"Okay, Alien cat wasn't the best explanation, but something's not normal about this cat."
He finds a website; Called "The Lab of Mutated Animals" Up on the left there was a tab saying "# search." He looked at the cat that looked at him, and in a split second, he lifted his paw again, as if he understood. "8-7-2-9-6-2" A new tab popped up, it read; "Louis Tomlinson, Color; brown tabby, Eyes; Blue. Species; Cat, Mutation; Unknown."
"Unknown?" He looks over and the three boys are throwing the cat around and hugging it like some kind of doll everyone wanted. "What are you?" He whispered again to himself.
